WE ARE #ABORIGINIES.
WE WERE ALREADY HERE!
My Tribe has been up and down this coast for thousands of years.
PLEASE re-educate your children with the truth. This has gone too far for too long.
Whites are #OCCUPIERS.
#AboriginiesOfUSA (not "blacks") have been here for THOUSANDS of years.

You fuhking Black Liability 👹. OMG😤, I'm pissed da fuhk off😠! What in da fuhk is wrong with you mothafuhkers👹?! WHAT😡?! My pressure hit the 🤬 fuhking roof 😖🥵💔⬆️💣💥⬆️💣💥💔🥵💥 and triggered a fuhking mini-stroke😖💥🧠💥😵💫. Utterly disgusting😖! 🤬😤😡🤬😠🤬
Fuhk 😖💣💔💥💣💔💥!
Recently, I was on our Twitter friend LupusChick's podcast:
Empowerment in Illness.
I was able to tell my story, and, hopefully, that testimony about my Progressive Illness may help at least one person.
LupusChick was my first Chronic Illness and Spoonie friend on Twitter (back in 2007, when it truly was "Twitter").
If you don't know what a "Spoonie" is, you can research: The Spoon Theory.
LupusChick and I found so many Twitter Spoonies who were living with very aggressive illnesses while we all were trying to maintain a peace that surpassed our own understanding.
Being debilitated by illness can be very isolating; LupusChick had taken me on as a little sister.
When I wasn't at my modified "best" (Spoonies get that!), she took it upon herself to fly from one end of the country to another, just to boost my spirits and ensure that I would definitely be okay.
Before I end, I want to mention something that often gets lost in the chronic healthcare circus: caretakers.
The information we provide is just as important for those tending to the chronically ill, as it can be a disorienting and overwhelming task for us veterans, let alone those dealing with newly diagnosed loved ones and patients. I'd suggest caregivers find and read: The Spoon Theory. It's a quick read and gives the most essential information that is needed from day one.
Lastly, I thank you in advance for showing patience with those patients whose illnesses cause cognitive issues.
I have a degrees in English, Political Science, and Business Management; I also did my Masters in Journalism, but my illness doesn't care about those accomplishments and is determined to deteriorate whatever "brilliance" I once had with words. So, many mistakes will be made and handled without much fuss (to do otherwise would only trigger more of my determined mini-strokes).
Be good.
Be patient.
Be in the moment.

Such a beautiful book.
And I feel the need to clarify some things:
I do not personally know the author or her ancestral background, but for educational purposes for my audience, let's just assume she was born and raised in The USA.
"Aboriginies," the Copper/Brown people of:
The Land "THEY" Call USA,
is not to be confused with:
"Aborigines" of Australia.
The extra "i" at the end denotes the difference.
I AM an ABORIGINIE who also supports Aborigines of Australia.
Two different groups with many similarities.
It's time we stop allowing other groups to give us misnomers (that The United States continuously changes--black, negro, Indian, colored, African American...) instead of simply stating the direct truth:
We were ALREADY here. And we've ALWAYS been here.
*Please note that I can only speak for MY people's ancestry on this land (USA) and no others. People from Alaska, Hawaii, the surrounding Caribbean islands, and Amerikkkan territories have their own ancestry.
**It should also be noted that Mexico was once all wooly-haired Aboriginies until the whytes (whom you now call Mexicans) successfully killed them off. The whyte Mexicans you know today fled from India and made their way here after a lost battle. After destroying the Aboriginies Mexico, they TRIED moving further up to southern USA areas, and lost the campaign against MY ancestors. At the end of the battle, my forefathers allowed the few remaining whyte Mexicans to live in: Tent Cities, as we were living in wooden and brick edifices. And that's the short version☺️.
Vegalia, thank you for sharing your talent with the world.
As for the author's amazing book, it can be utilized by ALL Aboriginal people on Mother Earth. And it can be a great educational tool for whites who want to expand (and maybe correct) their children's understanding of the ancestral lineage of this place that THEY call: USA.

1988 When people didn't need to TELL US that our lives mattered. We SHOWED THEM without uttering a sound. We LIVED like we mattered to...EACH OTHER. OUTSIDE validation was simply icing on the cake. Connecting with other WILLING ethnicities added extra dopeness to our lives, but wasn't a requirement to feel whole as a people. Our winning spirit helped many other groups of people to come and thrive on this land, but we didn't use that fact to embarrass them or hinder their grind and growth. We lived and let live. We TRULY believed: "All I gotta do is stay black and die." We are still those people, it's just that somehow the current generation grossly benefits from a legacy they don't understand. But... As our generation was built to do... We keep showing them and redirecting them. We keep the FAITH of a tiny, almost unnoticeable, mustard SEED. And we never tell each other: "Now is NOT the time to talk about THAT." or "There's a.time and place for IT.". Why? Cause there never really is a PROPER time to be YOU. It's ALWAYS time when children are involved. And because of the nature of the internet... Children ARE ALWAYS involved. "Be good. Be patient. Be in the moment. Be ready at ALL TIMES. Cause life IS a thief in the night. And it ain't waiting on you." ~MissNikkiAnn, 2022 https://www.instagram.com/p/CZWsKA4ORjksSglRcu8lku7DAxpqj_52lQTolQ0/?utm_medium=tumblr
