the directors themselves confirmed the tiger from kpdh isn’t a demon, but a spirit animal!

we never got a clear explanation if demons other than rumi are able to walk free in the human world, and now the chances of that are even lower considering the tiger isn’t a demon at all 😭

it lives in the barrier between the demon and human worlds, in other words the honmoon! which makes sense how it’s able to use the honmoon as a portal and teleport

the tiger is also referred by the directors as he/it!

hoping they go into this a bit more if we ever get a sequel. it seems like the girls themselves draw their weapons from the honmoon, so i’m wondering what else is there in the in between. not to mention it’d be nice to know how jinu and the tiger first met!

I based her on Jisoo from BLACKPINK, roughly.

I googled who she was inspired by, and she was one of them.

This is actually the first ever digital drawing I post, I hope you like it.

I had this fun concept in my mind in case K-pop demon hunters ever gets a sequel.

SLIGHT SPOILERS AHEAD

Imagine Rumi hearing Jinu’s voice sometimes. First at times when she is half asleep and at times like that, so she just brushes it off.

Then she hears it more often, during outings with the girls, meet and greets etc.

And she sees these black feathers pop up from time to time, like the crow’s with the hat.

And the twist would be that sometimes it is indeed Jinu who is speaking to her and sometimes it’s Gwi-Ma pretending to be Jinu. Gwi-Ma could find a way to reach her somehow, possibly through her grief or something.

Jinu would be a spirit now, not a demon, because Rumi purified his soul. And he is trying to reach her, but the sealing of the Honmoon cut all realms off, not just the demon one.

And when Rumi realizes this she would be forced to choose between breaking the Honmoon and possibly unleashing Gwi-Ma once again by doing so, or never meeting Jinu again.

They could have these cute dream dates, when Rumi is asleep, because then they could meet for some reason. But any time they would be about to touch Rumi would wake up, because they can’t physically interact, and Jinu would try to spare her from the pain but couldn’t stay away.

Yeah, and the tiger and the crow would have been spirits all along trying to guide Jinu, because I refuse to believe they had an ounce of bad in them. Especially the tiger.

Tbh, now I'm rewatching season 1, and one only, plus I'm giving a chance to dramarama, and it's washing out all the bad taste season 3 and the rest left in my mouth. From season 2 it's really downhill for most of the og characters and it's actually quite sad.
