Now, it wasn’t like Snow was unfamiliar with how strange the city could be. After living in a place like Goldenrod City for 19 years of his life, Snow had seen some things. But when he heard the terrible screeching of metal on concrete, the man stopped, shivering at the noise.
When she came into his view, however, his heart almost stopped, and his skin became covered in goosebumps. Snow gulped, and he couldn’t look at this girl enough. He failed to believe that this was really happening, which was unfortunate, because it was happening.
the girl spoke, and Snow was hit with a certain… Nostalgia. It was as if he had spoken to her before, in some other time, some other place. It wouldn’t have been any place like this one, the man mused. Rather, a forest somewhere seemed to be more of an appropriate place, maybe one that he had gotten lost in-
Ahh, but that was in the past. Snow looked at this girl in concern, frowning. “… The nearest machine… Is right next to you.” He didn’t question how this girl dragged the thing.
Turning her head this way and that, her eyes scanned her surroundings. From what she could see there wasn’t a single vending machine in sight. Brows furrow in confusion, now turning back to the boy in front of her.
“Snow....no vending machine...hungry,” as if to highlight this point her stomach growled loudly. “
She didn’t pay mind to how she had called this person she had ‘supposedly’ just met, by name. The odds were she hadn’t even noticed herself. She took a couple steps forward in his direction, the sound of the vending machine scraping along behind her echoed off the empty streets. “Hungry...” she murmured once more.
