Reblog this and tell me what was your biggest crying over a piece of fiction. You can be vague if you don't want to spoil.

#i don't tend to cry much at movies if there are other people around (this isn't purposeful it just. doesn't happen?)#and i watch 70-80% of movies with dan and he counts enough as people for me not to do much more than sniffle #so a lot of the movies i've had actual crying jags about are either gay movies or *bad* movies bc those are the ones i'm watching alone #however #dan and i went to see where the wild things are in 2009. we were college seniors and had been dating for like a year and a half #and as we were driving away from the theatre i burst into tears and was crying so hard i a) had to pull over and b) nearly threw up #to this day i don't really know what set me off so badly. but i have not watched it again #my blubbering explanation to dan at the time was that it was a movie about being a Bad Child in exactly the ways i have always felt i was #but i suspect some of it was related to 'imminent graduation' and thus the 1 2 punch of 'you were a bad kid and also now you're an adult'

KOSA UPDATE 7/10/26: THE SENATE RETURNS FROM BREAK SOON

I got this email from Fight For the Future and it is really helpful in communicating where we currently are in the fight against the KIDS Act and KOSA.

We should be using this time during the Senate's break to be calling, spreading the word, and doing everything we can to push back against these harmful bills. The return from break around July 15th, which is when Cruz said he wanted to consider the bills. So please, call while you can.
