oh my god. most of life really is about the little things. a good haircut, a nice playlist, trying a new recipe that turns out well, a poem that hits home, a comfortable spot in the sun, spontaneous messages, a pen you enjoy writing with, tea with the right temperature to drink, buying that thing you’ve been eyeing for a while, a warm bed. yeah im so grateful for the small joys

ah yes, dr micheal robinavitch i respect you. even if no less than two hours ago you informed me that you knew your senior resident stole drugs from this ED, an hour ago laughed in my face when talking about how I would be attending at said ED, have been lashing out at staff everywhere, humiliated a resident for her panic attack, have been treating me as less than competent due to your own insecurities, spent about 30 mins chasing a lead that would prove that bias, refuse to display basic empathy towards coworkers and patients, and generally have been concerning and suicidal for the whole shift.

I, dr baran al hashimi, saw all of this and respect you still of course. because why not. let me show you my personal medical history! you won't use that to prove me unsuitable as your replacement, I'm sure!
