Watch this if you need to cry.
Oh data, you so crazy.
"We are not drunks, we are multimillionaires!"
Blood by The Middle East. Beautiful song, but sad, and I won't lie, I found the video to be rather creepy.
Mysterious Island, don't miss the sweet dive suits made of giant shells!
So this guy regularly injects himself with all types of snake venom, ya know, bc it does things.
It was interesting to see the sort of pseudo-science self-experimentation approach. It was also pretty sad that he expresses a clear interest to contribute knowledge from his experiences to the medical field, and I can't imagine that it would happen as he envisions it. Obviously he doesn't know how freaking strict research, especially medical, requirements are. There is a clear abyss between this type of experimentation and actual research, although his knowledge is likely valuable. Now I wonder about how we could collect this type of knowledge or provide guidance for those who do self experimentation, because if you are gonna shoot up snake venom, might as well make it your thesis.
