I’ve literally been on this hellsite losing my mind, because of the trauma that haunts me 24/7 from the military. Because I got sexually assaulted and dared to report it. I didn’t even want to but I kept wanting to kill myself and I didn’t want to dieeee. I just wanted to not be in so much fear. So much terror. So much anxiety. So much pain. I cannot remember not being in fight or flight mode. And I really survived because my brain can compartmentalize my memory bank filled with trauma to keep us alive. My Dissociative Identity Disorder helped me to be dissociated, except I had multiple personalities beforehand, when I left another part of my psyche stepped in. Our first time we froze. The other times after we froze as a way of fawning. Human Nature is to self preserve, but damn, why me? And it’s because the system was not upheld, how can you hold a system accountable if those that manage it are the same ones who abuse it? It’s not “why you?” It’s “how dare y’all don’t hold this person that harmed me or someone else accountable”. If you fuck with my blog, STEP ON THE REBLOG BUTTON. Please and thanks.

As a person that has low self control with their tactile stims. I've gotten hurt trying to touch a cactus because it looked soft before. As a fully grown adult. Just a few months ago. And even I know better than to touch a random stranger, especially a random child.

I see blanket that looks soft? I touch. I see shirt at the store that looks soft? I touch. I see cactus that looks soft? I touch. I see person that has hair that looks soft? I don't touch because that's a grown ass person with their own autonomy.

It really speaks to the dehuminization and objectification of Black people that others don't realize it.
