Former transman, now lesbian and radical feminist. In love with gender theories and feminist theories and philosophical stuff in general. And drawing and writing fiction. Why you might wanna block/unfollow/not-even-begin-to-follow me: *) I am totally for political lesbianism, as in women, homo, bi or hetero, deciding to live women-centered lives. *) I am against talking-shit-about-heterosexual-women, it is not wrong to write about negative experiences with heterosexual women, and to rant a bit, but it should be clear, that these women are not out to get us, hurt, talk over us, they are an important part of every feminist branch. *) I have no-thing against women/girls, who write Shonen-ai/Yaoi/Slash-fanfictions or draw such comics, do sth. else, that apparently makes gay boys/men weep, or rage, I don't know; female sexuality is restricted and ridiculed enough without whiny gays going on about the pain of being fetishized, get a grip; besides, females are the most fetishized group ever, no one has the right to diminish their right to express and share their cock-evrywhere-fantasies, if anything, gays should join the fun. *) Trans men should be part of all-female-spaces. They are not traitors, and not men, they had the same upbringing as many women, they need places, where they are not forced to be women nor men, and their experiences are totally relevant. [There sure comes more..]
It is a terrible tragedy of the gender identity movement that the true causes of violence against trans people are being ignored in favor of blaming radfem theory.
For a person who openly admitted their friends are racist and has worked with a racist director who harasses black people online Daniel Radcliffe sure has a lot of guts attacking jk Rowling for speaking up about misogyny
Vagina is not a dirty word. Vulva is not a dirty word. Clitoris is not a dirty word. Labia is not a dirty word. Uterus is not a dirty word. The words used to describe my body will not be censored.
Not every post a woman makes on Tumblr is a personal attack on Trans people. You do not get to use gender dysphoria as an excuse to silence women. Look past your narcissism long enough to realize that women are being censored simply for using words to describe their bodies, and you should stop condemning them all to hell for making posts that talk about their OWN PERSONAL EXPERIENCES. @itspunktohailsatan
Discussing our oppression is triggering for people?
That sounds like a ‘them’ problem and not an ‘us’ problem.
If being in spaces where it is routine to label and identify oppression that is specifically set up for an oppressed group triggers you, you shouldn’t be in there, and you should be getting help for that.
I absolutely do not care if you’re “triggered” or “made uncomfortable” by mention of genitalia.
I’m extremely uncomfortable with the fact that female genitalia is so taboo we still can’t say it without misogynists coming onto posts claiming they’re “triggered” by the mere mention of vaginas.
If you’re “triggered” by female genitalia, YOU ARE A MISOGYNIST.
coming out as a lesbian & being asked if you’ve ever dated a man is such a catch 22 cause you know if you say yes they’re gonna think you’re open to fucking men but you just “chose” women after having a bad experience with a man or something but if you say no they’re gonna tell you there’s no way you can know for sure if you haven’t tried being with a man. ladies tell me if this is a reach but i almost feel like the core tenet of lesbophobia is that no one sees lesbianism as a real identity & everyone thinks it’s impossible for women to not be attracted to men
I ask them for their moms or grandmothers phone number, and say I’ll tell the truth if they give it to me. I want to ask how they fucked up raising the person so bad that they’d ask a stranger about their sexual history, bc u kno they don’t do that shit to straight people or even gay men. They all totally understand the pressure gays face, especially women, to act straight and know some people are in deep denial bc of religion, family, etc. They ask anyway bc they re entitled perverts, and it’s a great sign to avoid someone.
I can’t believe a bunch of men were like “actually, women have it easier when it comes to mental health because everyone already assumes you are weak, irrational, crazy, and stupid 🥺” and a significant amount of feminists were like oh shit good point
the reason there are few/no male domestic violence shelters is because males haven’t made themselves any.
do you guys seriously think women’s shelters were just HANDED to women, and that we didn’t have to fight for decades for them amongst massive pushback? do you think there wasn’t huge controversy surrounding the first womens’ shelters? do you think there weren’t violent protesters? do you think founders weren’t harassed with rape and death threats? we had to work for ours, you can work for yours.
if you want domestic violence shelters for men/transwomen, MAKE YOUR OWN. i’ll support you in that. most feminists will support you in that. but don’t make us do the work for you. we did all our own work ourselves, so can you. don’t rely on women to solve your problems.
Here in the US there were, and are now, shelters in most cities and towns, for men only. Go back in history and you will see it was a crime to shelter a woman who escaped from an abusive husband or father. We had to get the laws changed so women were not forced to return to their abuser and then we built shelters.
PSA: Battered women’s shelters (as we called them back then) were sometimes kept secret from the police because cops would try to take the woman “home” or inform the abuser where he could find her. Shelters defied the law. They were acts of civil disobedience. rebellion, grassroots direct action to save women’s lives.
The penis has this weird acceptance in our daily lives: boys and men will sketch a poorly made drawing of a penis and put it everywhere (buildings, playground equipment, school bathrooms, the list goes on) and they get little to no punishment and no one bats an eye because it is normal.
But then, a woman constructs this beautifully artistic depiction of a vagina and really truly, it is breathtaking. Except, this is apparently the biggest taboo one can commit. Suddenly you get people yelling at you “not all women have vaginas” and it’s offensive and inappropriate and think of the children (who 50% of have a vagina) and a shit ton of other things telling us that it is unacceptable in our society to have a vagina.
Well fuck you, I am female, I have a vagina, and I don’t shave it. The double standard is old, tired, and needs to be put to rest. Women will always exist with their physical bodies, get over it. Female has meaning. Woman has meaning. The vagina, vulva, ovaries, and other female exclusive body parts are beautiful and I will never feel bad for having them.
Why is it that no one contests that men have penises. Why is it only women who are forced to say that some women have penises. God I hate this whole thing.
