There is someone in the dt17 fandom who's been impersonating creators across several platforms as a way to harass and dox innocent people. They use asks, comments, and dms to send fabricated stories and lies about fandom members with zero evidence, seemingly as an attempt to falsely deplatform people they don't like.
I've gathered screenshots from people they've targeted to illustrate how nasty they can get.

This is not something I enjoy but it has to be said. Between 3/4 and 4/13 I received eighteen comments on ao3 from this person often only a few days apart. They have stalked me to the point of tracking down my real identity, they used my illness against me, my husband against me, my friend's death against me and accused me of things that have gone far beyond the point of acceptable behavior. Anyone who has known me long enough knows this shit isn't true, but no one deserves this. I do not like this. I do not want attention. I just want to enjoy my fandom in peace. I know others have suffered in silence, many for reasons far more sensitive than mine, but if you have dealt with something like this know you're not alone. We're here, so if you trust us and just want to be heard don't hesitate to reach out. And if anyone has any information that might help us identify this person please let us know.
I can't stop this psychotic stalker from saying horrible things about me, but if nothing else the whole fandom needs to see the type of person that's calling US disgusting, so please signal boost if you can.
I'm sorry your return to fandom activity had become such a horror show. I could mostly try to put aside what they've tried to pull against me, but the doxing and their attacks on you are especially disgusting. This is the most aggressive I've seen them be (but they did manage to drive several people from the fandom and break up friend groups). I don't want them to keep getting away with this, but they're banking on our silence.
You've been nothing but kind, and I enjoy seeing a vertan fan becoming active again. Despite everything, there's still a lot of good people in this fandom.
I really hope we can get justice.

Deciced to use a panel from the Ducktales Valentine Special 2026 as a inspiration, mostly bc I saw a shipper of these two ( @monkey-li ) dissapointed with it. Not saying mine's better, I think the line of action is much better in the original.
but i wanted to point out that in the Old Comics, Scrooge did get tricked by a valentine from magica! I even remember the title of the Comic 'The Ten Cent Valentine". So it's a nice callback.
the fandom consensus has been WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TWO DOING HERE??? it's shouted with love, but still a valid question. on the one hand, there are so many Ducktales villains they could have used. On the other hand, this is pretty dang funny in the implications.
Now, this captures a problem I have with the current runs of ducktales and darkwing comics - the dialogue doesn't really fit the characters at times - Webby here doesn't sound like herself at all. She sounds way older?
It gives off the impression the writers claim they're huge fans of the shows, but in reality haven't watched them in years and just recently skimmed tvtropes. Webby in particular brought this meme to mind
that said, I do like the art in these comics, very expressive and fun.

Anyway, scrooge accidentally harasses a guy selling flower, thinking it was magica, but runs into magica anyway.

con - Not a fan of the "man disguises as woman to seduce man" trope. not great implications.
So as much as I like the "forget me do" plot, the initial start is... confusing.
first, it clearly shows it hitting the kids, but the kids aren't affected at all.
second, the spell instantly transports magica and scrooge back to her lair? i get its for quick story purposes, just seems rushed and weird.
So the two of them have lost their memory and have to rely on guest-work, since Ratface said "screw 'em."
Now I've complained a lot so far, but! I genuinely like this idea! Them figuring themselves out and their relationship via surroundings is fun, and (i mean this in a good way) like a fanfic!
So the kids go to Gyro, who reveals he put a tracker on Scrooge's spats, so they can try to find him. Magica and Scrooge manage to gather clues enough to remember their names, and that Magica has, well, magic.
they do this weird floaty thing for the rest of the comic. which, considering the cover has a broom, seems like another odd choice? But I can let it slide because here comes romantic misunderstandings HEEHEEHEEHEE

so our happy couple starts going treasure hunting together and I'm just chin-handsing at how happy they are together and how well they get along without their pasts to burden them down

storywise, the kids are having trouble catching them, as the Power Couple simply keeps hopping from place to place

It's so cute, so cute, so - since when the fuck did Magica have laser eyes
But uh yeah, for those not in the know, Magica's goal has always been to grab the dime, put it in an amulet, and (comics) get the midas touch (cartoon) get powerful/lucky. So this is a big oh no moment.
All good things must come to an end - the kids finally catch up, and with Gyro's science, the memories are restored.
Considering how rushed this comics can be, I genuinely appreciate that they took the time for this page to breathe and have the tension it deserves. It's so powerful and tragic at the same time.
The kids have yoinked back their uncle, but he demands for them to let him go, since Magica has his dime...

perfect beautiful 10/10 no notes on that ending, it was so sweet and cruel and i couldn't ask for any changes. The longing for what could have been and the memories that will haunt them and knowing deep down, if it wasn't for Magica's obsession, they could have been happy together????
So, my complaints are a few weird story ticks, and a pinch of the dialogue - (and for a valentine's comic, no smooches??? not even on the cheek??? criminal.) But otherwise?

This right here is exactly why I think they wouldn't work and where Darius is wrong. What Brooklynn is doing isn't healthy (I mean, it has cost her her arm). She doesn't know when to stop to the point where she became self destructive. Darius puts her on a pedestal, to the point where he's willing to accept her putting her investigations above her life, but it's not love, and it's unhealthy. Kenji on the other hand loved her, and that's exactly why he didn't encourage her to continue. It hurt him, and herself, even if she didn't realize it. Brooklynn doesn't know when to stop, and it's her biggest flaw, one no one should blindly accept. Kenji was hurt exactly because he loved her and wanted to spend time with her, wanted the best for her. In the end I hope Brooklynn realizes next season that her life has as much (more) value as her investigations and that she understands Kenji. Her getting with Darius would be character regression at that point, because it would validate what she has done.
