probably unintended but useful thing about being able to turn reblogs off is that if reblogs are not turned off I feel ok reblogging something

reblogging trans selfies on trans day of visibility is a nifty thing I like to do, but I sometimes get the doubt of like, well what if OP didn't actually want reblogs. but since reblogs can be turned off now, it seems safer to assume that since I can reblog it and the reblogs weren't turned off, it's ok to.

on that note I miss blackouts. we used to have various "post selfies of yourself if you're a marginalized person and we'll all reblog each other's selfies!" days on tumblr and it was fun and felt a little more like a community and not just where I go to talk to myself out loud online.
