Can Arthur be one of Disney Princess? He’s got an amazing Dancing skill!
Just Dance.
In which Antoni Porowski is all of us
Those brothers talk about burgers
Living here, that’s what I’m doing! I’m living here! I’ve been learning new things about myself all the time!
Some peri-smiles for @softiedottie!
Writing about a child rapist did not make Vladimir Nabokov a child rapist.
Writing about an authoritarian theocracy did not make Margaret Atwood an authoritarian theocrat.
Writing about adultery did not make Leo Tolstoy an adulterer.
Writing about a ghost did not make Toni Morrison a ghost.
Writing about a murderer did not make Fyodor Dostoevsky a murderer.
Writing about a teenage addict did not make Isabel Allende a teenage addict.
Writing about dragons and ice zombies did not make George R.R. Martin either of those things.
Writing about rich heiresses, socially awkward bachelors, and cougar widows did not make Jane Austen any of those things.
Writing about people who can control earthquakes did not make N.K. Jemisin able to control earthquakes.
Writing about your favorite characters and/or ships in situations that you choose does not make you a bad person.
It’s a shame that in this day and age these things need to be said.
Or, in short: the narrator =/ the author.
You know what else is a shame? This nowadays tendency of putting on the author the responsibility of teaching their readers morality.
Authors are allowed to write morally ambiguous characters.
Authors are allowed to write downright despicable characters - and guess what they are even allowed to make despicable characters charismatic and likeble and the protagonists of their stories if they wish - because absolute monsters exist only under the bed.
It is not up to the author to spoonfeed the readers about morality and Yes I know this character did a bad thing and I am going going to show it in the story and make other characters call them out of it and– Bullshit.
The authors should be able to write what they want without having thousands of people jumping and their throats claiming to know them, their ideas and their morality based on what they write.
It’s not up to the author to teach you about what is right and what is wrong.
It’s not up to the author to teach you about what is right and what is wrong.
yall know the scene in clone high when principal scudworth says “whyyyy having a mechanical british servant is no more eccentric than that TIE youre wearing” and then the shadowy figure looks down and theres no tie!!!!!! thats honestly, right there, thats comedy gold. thats the best fucking scene ive ever watched. from any show in existence. that right there will crack me tf up every single time i watch it and anyone who watches that scene and DOESNT laugh can eat my shorts its so fucking funny
So does good omens have like, a plot and shit or, like are michael sheen and hot david tennant just the main characters. I was under the impression they were like background to an actual plot but it seems it’s literally just about their enemies to lovers slowburn
they are the main characters but they contribute exactly nothing to the plot. it’s like armageddon but focusing on two absolutely useless homosexuals instead of armageddon
Once upon a time, there was a girl and the girl had a shadow. The two were connected, tethered together. And the girl ate, her food was given to her warm and tasty. But when the shadow was hungry, he had to eat rabbit raw and bloody. On Christmas, the girl received wonderful toys; soft and cushy. But the shadow’s toys were so sharp and cold they sliced through her fingers when she tried to play with them. The girl met a handsome prince and fell in love. But the shadow at that same time had Abraham, it didn’t matter if she loved him or not. He was tethered to the girl’s prince after all. Then the girl had her first child, a beautiful baby girl. But the shadow, she gave birth to a little monster. Umbrae was born laughing. The girl had a second child, a boy this time. They had to cut her open and take him from her belly. The shadow had to do it all herself. She named him Pluto, he was born to love fire. So you see, the shadow hated the girl so much for so long until one day the shadow realized she was being tested by God.

justin mcelroy has said many powerful things but honestly no set of words in the english language conveys the same energy as “that’s a funny trick to play on god”
“you’re rearranging deck chairs on the titanic, my friend” is a very close second
“we can do whatever sins we want! there’s no god here to observe this” is very good too
“the man who sleeps with a machete is a fool every night but one” was also good
Comedy People: Actors/Writers/Directors→ Taika Waititi (What We Do in the Shadows, Thor: Ragnarok, Hunt for the Wilderpeople)
“I want to explore the painful comedy of growing up and interpreting the world. I believe that despite our faults and inadequacies, through all pain and heartache, there is still room to laugh.”
U kno what???? Honestly?? All jokes side about the Duolingo owl, Duolingo is one of the only language education services I know of that doesn’t charge for the full course and I really think we don’t appreciate that enough in a world where knowledge is severely (and increasing) restricted based on income. I just went through the app store and downloaded every language app I can find, and the only two that didn’t charge hefty subscription fees to access all the lessons were duolingo and memrise. Support free education.
“The barbie franchise enforces gender stereotypes”
Ken is literally a trophy husband to a successful rich beautiful business woman but okay go off I guess

This is aimlessly wandering around Walmart erasure.
do not put ur life on hold because of how u feel about ur body. don’t postpone trips or cute clothes because u want to wait until u are thin. life is happening right now. u r beautiful right now.
