Well... I really love your art and your OC x Cannon! But I wanted to ask you something... Does your OC happen to have any personality differences in the game? Since, when the cartoon was released , Many characters undergo significant personality and appearance changes at times. Does she happen to have one too?

I would say much like the other characters, Luci most likely takes a more serious tone in the game rather than her more cartoonish or over-the-top show personality. While in the show I can see her more intimidating demonic aspects being played off with gags to keep the light-hearted tone, in game I imagine they’d be taken as a more serious threat. Her cunning, wit, and manipulative tendencies overpowering her anxiety, whimsy, and curiosity that her show-self displays.

I have yet to sketch what I imagine her game-self would look like but I can’t imagine it would be much different. Her neckpiece would probably switch from a thick choker to more of a ruffled cravat, and probably just one set of buttons rather than the three. Her gloves would probably be shorter too but I’m not entirely sure; I’ll have to add it to my to-do list.

I made a quick ref sheet for the body of my conjoined twin Cuphead OCs/fankids- it's probably the main thing that's been the most inconsistent when I draw them.

So, this is now how I see their bodies and their anatomy. I once said a while ago that they share a lung, but I no longer think they do, considering how I've now visualised their anatomy with separate ribcages.

This also gave me another opportunity to study the human skeleton, which is always a plus.

HEY GANG have this thing that I made in between art fight attacks! This was meant to be a sketch but then I started coloring and oh shit it’s shaded and I can’t stop WHOOPS

BUT I think a long time ago some of you guys were curious about how I headcanon King Dice’s parents, so here they are in full! Their names are Solomon and Irene! Irene was a darling young firecracker back in her prime, and Solomon was… well, he certainly knew how to charm a pretty dame when he saw one. (He is NOT a good person.)

NOT TO YAP I’LL KEEP IT SHORT but King Dice obviously takes after his mother a LOT in terms of looks! But the way I’ve been drawing him, he’s got a variant of snake eyes just like his father. He’s also inherited Solomon’s short temper, manipulative personality, and many other traits that the Devil just loves to exploit. You’ll find out more about them soon!

Angel, your destiny is calling…

I was just wondering, what if Angel was an angel? I can’t decide if it’s better that she has to find it out or she’s just casually an angel and never bothered to tell anyone or do anything about it.

I treat Angel like an OC, don’t I. Well, since she’s a background character with minimal dialogue or personality I can take her wherever I want and the only thing you can do about it is make your own interpretation.

I know the show would probably go with the cartoony Angel character from the DLC but I just felt like drawing a biblically accurate Angel with PAC-Man eyes.

"Jack didn't feel remorse at the end of IV 2!!" is a sentiment I see being passed around a lot, but I feel the need to say that!! He did!! And while that doesn't excuse what he did, it does show that what he did was out of desperation.

You have to look at his perspective: he was the first person out in a competition that he, quite literally, risked his life to take part in. And, in his perspective, his best wasn't enough to keep him in the game. If you were him, you'd be upset, right? You would have worked, essentially, your entire life to try a now achievable goal, and now you have no clue what to do with yourself. You would lash out, right? That was was Jack did. He lashed out without thinking.

But, the important thing here is that he did feel remorse. His expression says it all:

His suprise clearly shows that he didn't mean what he did, but he also knows that he can't take it back. He's gone too deep, but he didn't mean to go that far.
