I hate that my family thinks that my art is just freebies. It gets so annoying that every year they just ask for more. I give them a painting or something and they want more. It never ends. They can never be satisfied.
It was so embarrassing at this gallery opening. They looked at other’s artwork and was like “you can do this for me, will you do this for me” then we went somewhere and talked about which painting they want me to paint next.
They feel so entitled to my art. I am just so sick of it. I wish I didn’t invite them, but I will either get hounded at the event or hounded afterwards for not inviting them.
