The Day was long and exhausting for Angel as they came through the door they were met with David who felt the exhaustion before the door even opened .
David : “ Angel you should Rest , here take this”
David says to Angel handing them a bottle of water and giving them a pillow to lay on the couch
David had a plan to brighten angels day now normally David doesn’t shift a lot nor does he act like an oversized dog like Asher naturally does but if it meant making his angel smile he’d do it for his mate and a cute surprise would certainly brighten their day.
Hours past Angel had woken up from their nap and heard the sound of scratching on the door , the door opened and a big black Fluffy wolf sat with a deer antler in its mouth that wolf being David tail wagging vigorously like a helicopter blade accompanied by the sounds of panting .
David Thoughts :” ok uh how would Asher do this uh lay the gift on the floor and let the tongue hang ? Uh ok a bit too hanged alright that’s perfect “
David says to himself as he made himself appear adorable .
David let out a soft whine of happiness after seeing Angel smile yet he still felt the twing of exhaustion in them even after he nuzzled their hands .
David : “ I am so gonna get clowned on for this by Asher and Milo and whatever I simply want Angel happy”
David says to himself as he jumped onto his mate and proceeded to lick them and let out a bark in response to Angel laughing out of genuine happiness with the playful stop remark which was meant with more slobbery wolf kisses / licks from David .
David : “ I knew this would work haha , did you really think I’d let you wallow in your exhaustion” Angel David says to Angel
even though they heard a few growls and a bark but Angel could tell it was probably David scolding them on self care
David : “ yeah I’m your big puppy and your protective marshmallow only for you Angel “
David Says as he felt his tail wag and leg instinctively kick from the belly rush and ear scratches
Time passed the sun has set as wolf david laid next to angel Sleeping the sound of wolf snores was the only sound heard accompanied by angels snoring as well .
