hi! this is way overdue but here's a little wip post about this blog and who runs it!

who am i?

hi there! you can call me Moon or Moons, i use she/her (they/them is fine too), i'm an adult, i'm a white transfem(me)/transwoman, im queer as fuck both in identity and politic, and i think robots and nature are pretty neat!

(also im a uni student so forgive me if i dont get back to you quickly)

so this is just a personal/fandom blog, with the occasional bit of politics cause the world's on fire

fandoms & interests: lancer rpg, in stars and time, life is strange, rain world, robots (esp when alive), the deep sea, astrobiology and spec ev, astronomy, robots again, getting into evangelion, blumendrei specifically, anarchism & imaging a world based in hope

the name is from the rain-world phase because i fucking love iterators and ancients so this blog is a made up ancient name for myself!

Gotta add sex work mechanics to my TTRPG based on the experience of being a trans woman.

Not because it’s a career we inherently seek out due the fetishizing our own bodies or something. But because when the world fetishizes and commodifies you and makes employment difficult for you… sometimes you have to do what you need to… to get by. Even when it’s dangerous.

Anyways legalize sex work, it’s real work. Sex workers deserve unions.

i’ll link a good pretty plain factual piece from the human rights watch below but in essence the legalization or partial decriminalization of sex work often leads to unsafe conditions or required monitoring or testing of sex workers which does more to control sex workers than give them more autonomy

anyways yeah just thought i’d add but hell yeah unions for sex workers would be great, and safer conditions and less stigma

If we need someone to do a job, that job is a role in the community and deserves not just a salary but cultural respect for the role.
