Hey everyone! I'm Moon!

I'm remaking my pinned post, because my last one was made in 2022 and it is embarassing to looked at my 2021 me apologize for existing </3.

I am an hispanic streamer, editos and aspiring designer who spends most of her time either making things, consuming stories or getting emotionally attached to fictional character that don't exist.

I've been streaming for four years now, mostly because i genuinely enjoy sharing things with people. Games, movies, books, hyperfixations, random life updates... If I'm excited about something chances are i'll end up talking about it somewhere, it doesn't matter where.

I'm neurodivergent, which means my brain is either at a 5% of battery or at a 200% all the time with no in between, mostly bc of my ADHD but also bc i chug caffeine like it's water. Sometimes it translates into creativity and sometimes it translates into an antropomorphic tornado foaming at the mouth playing a videogame while stuttering on stream, not a lot i can do about it.

Most people know me through gaming. Minecraft has been my comfort game for years and it will probably always be, even tho I don't make as much content for it as I would want to. I play a bit of everything: RPG's, horror games, simulators, indie games, mystery games and any strange game that can catch my attention for more than one minute. I am what people like to call a "variety streamer", which means my tastes are somewhere between the most dark egregious shit a human has ever created and a unicorn vomiting a rainbow.

Outside of games, I love storytelling. Anything that can tell a story is something that will always peak my interest, it doesn't matter what it is. Books, movies, animation, anime, manga, webtoon, fanfiction, mythology, music, poems, visual art... I love analyzin characters, themes, symbolism, and all the little details that make people create their little worlds.

As for my content... I think the best description I've ever found is rabid dog plays videogames in a dumpster on fire. Things get chaotic, plans go wrong, i get distracted and scream, i create side qeusts for myself, i spend waaaay to loong talking to myself and about things that are not about the game... It's great!

I thrive to create an inclusive community, somewhere welcoming, a space where i can celebrate diversity and i can feel safe, heard, and seen. A place that I can call my own little home on the internet, a place that I can call my own.

we have dandelions EVERYWHERE, they are basically our State Weed, it is absolutely impossible that my mom has never interacted with a dandelion before, this requires further investigation

So after extensive interrogation I have an update:

my mom is in fact aware that dandelions exist. she temporarily forgot the name and there was some miscommunication.

the truth is actually weirder

she’s aware dandelions look like this

she is familiar with this flower. she knows the name of this flower. she declines to believe, however, that these are also dandelions

she does not believe these are the same plant. I tried to explain, and she thought I was either misinformed or lying. so I asked her what exactly did she think the yellow ones were called?

she answered, with complete confidence: Daffodils.

Believe victims and highlight their stories. Do not let perpetrators remain free without consequences.

They are not monsters lurking on the dark or hiding under your bed, they are men and they know exactly what they are/were doing.

They cover and defend each other thinking that as long as they apologize or don't get caught there will be no consequence.

Believe a victim before a possible abuser even if you are not sure. You could be one of them. I know I am. We all are one of them. A Shubble. A Lexie. A Rue. An Alice. A Niki. A Caiti. An Andi.

I FINISHED BG3

Today after 90 hours I finished my first run of BG3 :D I looked up to my saves an couldn't contain a laugh bc i always named everything after the context of the moment. Tag yourself, I like to think I am house of healing travesy.

I DID IT, I survived <3.

This year was magical and also awful, a full emotional dichotomy, I was full of energy but also more tired than ever, but almost at the end I started having a little more of strenght!

The Talecraft Crew has been a light on my life this last two years and I really think they have helped a lot on painting a moon on a black stained glass.

It has always made me happy seeing my friends achieving their goals, helping them and speaking to them, but this 2024 i am going a step forward! I also wanna achieve my own goals, and ask for help, I wanna learn new stuff and I wanna fight for my own path.

I am starting to create consistent content again and I have been editing a lot, I even uploaded three YT videos on the last two months lol. I don't plan on going full burnout mode, but also I hope it wont take me six months between content and content. It will be a step by step journey, I wanna talk about videogames and make cute pictures, I wanna know new people and make them smile and laugh.

I also fought a lot meritocracy lol. Due to my different health issues and to my mom being sick I wasn't able to work nor study this year, and since I've been a lil isolated outside of my online friends, i couldn't do a lot to help anyone more than give a lot of emotional support. I used to measure my worth by how needed I was and how much I helped others.

I used to think that if I didn't helped anyone I was nothing and that if people didn't hurt me than the didn't love me. Sometimes I still think on it! But I'm glad i'm kind of getting over those feelings and thoughts.

I've been growing a lot since I started streaming, I think i'm finding myself and I still have a loooot to learn, so I hope everyone knows that y'all are welcome on this :)

The Legend of the Notos SMP

Hi hi! In case you don’t know, me and some friends started a pirate themed roleplay smp based on a song of The Oh Hellos, Notos. I wrote the world-building and the legend that make our characters get stranded on an island, and I was so happy with the result that I decided to share it here! English is not my first language but I think it was nice besides some mistakes.

The world was struck with misfortune.

The silent ones trembled in fear, the deities had awakened, and their world had been corrupted by abuse and temptation.

The winds powerful like no other besides Her, surrounded the humans. "You knew power" they said. "You held it in your hands, wielding it like the Player once did with a King, but instead of using the King to heal, you used it to hurt.

You targeted the innocent, and now the innocent targets you.

You have withered this world, and now you deserve a lesson. You'll never fire a gun and run again. We'll force you to behave.

The next time you hurt someone, you will be dragged where you won't be able to escape your actions.

The island will catch you, and you will never be able to escape. You will be left behind to fall. With a mortal body but always living souls.

And in the world only a shadow will settle in the place where you once were.

A silhouette of everything that went wrong.

And it will be repeated over and over again.

An endless loop, humans trapped by pride.
