Morgia Bridal: Philadelphia Fashion Incubator
You were part of the Philadelphia Fashion Incubator, tell us a bit about your experience?
The program was absolutely incredible. I was able to take the year to really focus on my business and meet industry professionals and bounce ideas off of the other designers in the program. I was able to build a huge network that I can now take and input into my business.
How did you find out about the Philadelphia Fashion Incubator?
I heard about it the first year it started. I actually applied the first year, didn't get in and re-applied the second time and got in.
What was the most challenging aspect of the program?
The most challenging part was managing my time between all of the workshops and appointments and sales opportunities and continuing to work on what I needed to for my company. But I would do it all over again the same way if I could.
Who are three people that you met during the program that impacted you the most?
Three people I met that really made an impact was Lynn Devon in New York that owns a custom clothing line, Melissa Hall from the Emerging Designer in NY and Rosina Rucci from Ralph Rucci. All three had a lot of great advice and information for give to help move my company forward.
