Part of our dining room table. Window light coming in from the garden. Bare walls. Makeshift curtains. The house was undergoing renovations. A new terrace to repair leaks. New ceiling to house spot lights. It is good to have a dry house again.

Vandals. It was Saturday morning, two weeks ago, 3am, two guys ripping side view mirrors from ten or twenty cars. I called the police. They came an hour or two later. The damage was done. I’m told they are resold in other countries to repair old cars. Great.
