Resurrecting my tumblr because PWHL Reddit said PWHLblr was the place to be.
Iâve been working on these tarot card (ish) designs over the last few months. I gotta get it together and finish up with Vancouver and Minnesota before the new teams announce their names/logos đ
uploading to tumblr threw off the timing I painstakingly tried to maintain in this edit but I hope it comes across. anyway enjoy clown hockey I heard someone mention clown hockey
theyâre the worst team in the league, their captain has been named one of timeâs most influential people, they have 5 collective olympic medals among them, one of their goalies is the only she/they player in the league, sometimes people draw their logo as a dragon: theyâre the seattle torrent
i had so much fun drawing pwhl teams as snoopy! please do not repost outside of tumblr. dm or send an ask to request a specific player or different image size :)
First Meeting: The Ottawa Ice Hole and Montreal Glass Crack
I was gonna wait until tomorrow to write this, but wrote it during intermission instead. There's absolutely NO proofreading, so my bad.

inspired by @azure-skies-with-sun saying they want to see the Ottawa ice hole and the Montreal glass crack kiss
The buzzer overhead rang out, bringing all the chaos on the ice to a halt. The bodies that had just been at battle were now calmly filing out of the rink. The once boisterous crowd quieted, all finding their own idle nothings to keep their attention during intermission. It was in these brief moments before the Zamboni came through, that the Ottawa Ice Hole found her peace. It gave her time to think. To just breathe, yet it didnât come with the crushing isolation that set in once the lights went down. A soft, unfamiliar voice broke the subtle hum of conversation. âExcuse me?â
Ottawa Ice Hole looked up, her mind momentarily blanking in awe of the woman she saw before her. âSorry, I donât mean to bother you.â Montreal Glass Crack smiled. âI just wanted to say Iâm a huge fan. I saw your debut at TD Place, and it was just⊠spectacular.â she sighed wistfully. Ottawa Ice Hole felt her mouth dry as she floundered to conjure up a response.
âThank you.â She managed to stammer out, a bit louder than intended. âI uh, I could say the same about you.â It felt as though Montreal Glass Crackâs gaze had her trapped. Her glassy exterior made it hard for Ottawa Ice Hole to know her true intentions, but her beautiful shine drew her in nonetheless.Â
âMe? No, youâre just saying that.â A fog appeared on Montreal Glass Crackâs pane as she blushed. âYouâre the real star here. I was forgotten after the first period. They didnât even need to leave the ice for me.â
A small tear welled up in the corner of one of the faint cracks that made up Montreal Glass Crackâs visage. A soft chuckle fell from her. âYou had people talking about you for days. You had the game delayed for an hour! Articles were written about you⊠I could never live up to that.â
âYou donât need to.â Ottawa Ice Hole smiled up at Montreal Glass Crack gently, wiping the falling tear away and holding her face. âYou are your own phenomenon. You donât need to compare yourself to me.â She looked around quickly, seeing the audience sit back in their seats, snacks in hand. Along with both teams emerging from the locker rooms. âHey, we donât have a lot of time left, but what are you doing after this? Want to grab a drink with me?â
Montreal Glass Crack gave her a warm smile and brought the hand that was cupping her face to her lips, placing a gentle kiss on Ottawa Ice Holeâs frigid knuckles. âIâd like that.â
