Little different from what I normally post, I don't talk about headcanons a lot BUT I keep spinning this wainlock one in my brain since me and my friend thought of it <3

Wainwright snores, but was Very unaware of the fact and when Alistair told him he immediately assumed it was the worst possible snoring ever bc Monty fucking snored so loud you could hear it halfway across the manor. He doesn't theyre like. Normal old man snores.

Anyway, after some time, Alistair finds out that he apparently has a really hard time sleeping without it. So he will just call Wainwright if he's out on an expedition to be able to sleep- which Wainwright is BAFFLED by but obliges anyway. Eventually he learns that his snoring is not actually that bad but it still confuses him a bit.

This also got especially bad right after gl&t, Alistair cut several trips short just so he could sleep in his own bed with his husband in person.

I genuinely think that if one were to run a borderlands themed ttrpg, Never Stop Blowing Up is the best possible system to use. Its also perfect for players new to TTRPGs bc its so simple

There was a learning curve, for sure. With Torse's iron frame, he wasn't the ideal person to lie with for relaxation, but Max is more stubborn than iron, so they experimented: They discovered that a layer of light padding between them, such as a folded quilt, was enough to keep the sharp edges from digging into Max (more than he liked). It also allowed them to share body heat, as the warm hum from Torse's core kept Max safe from his chillier extremities during cold nights on the Zephyr. Once he felt safe enough to do so and no longer thought the man might judge him for the vulnerability, Torse opened his chest cavity, allowing Max to slide inside his ribs and cradle his heart. Despite the man's broad shoulders and large frame (for a human), he fit perfectly, as if Zern and Gath had harmonized in the creation of their children just for this. Though Torse does not need to sleep, he does rest better knowing his Maxwell is protected. Anything that comes for them will have to get through Torse first; He will not let anything ruin this perfection.
