Well it finally happened! I can no longer get into my tumblr account other than on this, my old phone, because the email it's linked to is the one I made in 2006 and haven't had access to for a solid 10+ years
Moral of the story is I'm remaking

my favorite part is that absolutely nobody says this except here. so if you use it in public, it's a dead giveaway that you spent the last ten years on tumblr. but then again, they recognized it, which means they were at the devil's sacrament

Finally got the chance to see my British FWB again and I'm genuinely so mad I don't live in this country anymore because it would just be so nice to be able to see him more often
Like I am so uninterested in having a relationship right now or really even putting any time or energy into finding another FWB in the states, and my guy here is kind of exactly what I want - also divorced and knows what that's like, old enough to be totally self sufficient and doesn't want me to be his mom/maid, and great in bed, plus he made an absolutely delicious stew tonight and I didn't have to do a single thing
But realistically it'll probably be another 6 months before I'm back in the UK and I just wish I didn't have to wait that long to see him again

Hi. Things are bleak, I know that. I know that we paid for Trump's last term with blood and it is likely the price will be blood again.
But listen to me. LISTEN.
You do not have to force yourself to witness horrors as an act of activism. It is not a form of activism. You can put your phone down, you can block that horrific video. We cannot win if you cannot fight and you will not be able to fight if you are hopeless.
Do not let them guilt you into this. People who are exhausted are easier to walk over. Take care of yourself, find community where you find joy.
