and like the problem is that a lot of chores are framed as things that you Have To Do to fulfill some reason or another (ie doing the dishes so that you can cook and have clean dishes to eat off of) and when that becomes your motivation to do everything nothing seems appealing. OR chores become negatively reinforced (ie i have to do the dishes so that my roommate stops nagging me) and that makes me feel bad so i end up avoiding the task entirely and that sucks.

but you have got to reframe it. you have got to reframe the task so that now it's something you want to do, like being high at 2am in the kitchen in your underwear dancing by yourself. this is a much better experience than just doing the dishes. now you get to do a little task and you're high and in the kitchen by yourself in your underwear and having fun. and it's 2am. and life doesn't suck

#19 The Matrix (T/Quad)rilogy (but mostly Resurrections)

watched with hellzone. i saw the first matrix for the first time a few years back & it definitely holds up good. 2nd movie is fun and 3rd movie is fine but theyre both just kind of 'more matrix' whereas the 4th one was down right fascinating to me. i love a film that hates itself

dont really have a ton to say about these movies honestly. i liked em. lots of layers to analyse and whatever isnt cerebral about them is just lots of fun. big ups. my rating probably goes 1 > 4 > 2 > 3

was also cool to see some sense8 alumni in the 4th one

It's wild to watch the phrase "tumblr sexyman" morph into "man that tumblr thinks is sexy," because when I first saw the phrase come into use, I always saw it used in reference to the phenomenon of "when presented with a wide array of fictional characters, tumblr will always pick the skinny white man to obsess over, and if the fan-favorite character has no canonical human appearance, the fandom will inevitably create a popular fanon of the character as as a skinny white man."

When I hear "tumblr sexyman," I think of Cecil Night Vale being constantly depicted as a skinny white man instead of literally anything else. I think of the background character white men who get elevated over protagonists that are women, people of color, or otherwise not the white man power fantasy.

"Tumblr sexyman" is, like. An insult. I DON'T want any of my blorbos to win a "tumblr sexyman" poll. "Tumblr sexyman" is the exact opposite of what I want my own OCs to be. If any of my characters ever get called "tumblr sexyman," I will have to immediately re-evaluate myself and the art I'm making.

every chapter of deltarune has a secret npc who only appears if you leave and re-enter the room 1225 times while you have a bagel in your seventh inventory slot and the npc is a sentient doorknob and when you talk to them the music cuts out and they’re like “who’s that whispering in the trees, it’s two sailors and they’re on leave, pipes and chains and swinging hands, who’s your daddy, yes i am” and then within four hours there’s a thirty minute long video on youtube titled “ASGORE IS FRIEND???
