@sabakunoai I am sorry to do that to you. I came upon a gif set accidentally (my eyes) showing the Euron Jaime sword fight about the poor helpless queen and saw the dialogue. I did not watch the episode so I am still finding out about lovely details such as this. The idea that Cersei never found out is part of the showrunners devotion to their beloved queen and a way to make Jaime and Brienne’s relationship appear insignificant ignoring years of yearning and development. Can you imagine Cersei’s reaction to finding out? Even if they wanted a twincest endgame wouldn’t that at least have been a moment the general audience would enjoy? Jaime finding out was to turn the sword fight into one between romantic rivals. I still laugh when I remember hearing the sword fight was used as a way to get the audience worried that he wouldn’t get back to Cersei in time. I mean besides a few twincesters did anyone give a fuck about that.?! In my mind the showrunners viewed Euron and Brienne as virtually the same in this story; roadblocks to their awful tragic romance. In equating them they basically erased their own show itself. If Jaime and Brienne’s relationship is irrelevant then I guess I can consider the entire show and all its characters irrelevant as well.

You know if they wanted twincest to be such an epic romance perhaps you should not have juxtapositioned it with the best romance on television.
