[Transform into someone who has a meaningful life, not someone who has money on their bank account.]
Over the Garden Wall (2014)
Hey, it's really difficult for me to ask for help, in any aspect of life but I'm going to need to do it now.
For a while I have been trying to move my little family (my mom, my 5 and 16 years old sisters, and me) to another place so we can escape my mom's abusive ex husband and so we can have more space for my little sister to play and all that, as the current place we're in is really, really, small. And we have an opportunity to move now to a house that actually have two rooms and more space. I've been working really hard to do this for them but we have some debts and nor me or my mom have high incomes. So I'm asking you to please, please, help me to do this for my family. Can you help me to rise the money for them? I need around $500 dollars so we are almost fully covered. If you have one dollar or anything to spare, I would be really grateful. If you want more info or anything to confirm that this is real, feel free to contact me. I tried to do an go fund me acc but as I'm in Mexico I cannot do that. This is my PayPal https://paypal.me/alihurod?locale.x=es_XC
Vaya a paypal.me/alihurod e ingrese el importe. Como es PayPal, es fácil y seguro. ¿No tiene una cuenta PayPal? No se preocupe.
Thank you for your time! Happy new year, everyone!
Women of color are leaving radical feminism by the droves because of the rampant racism here on radblr and my question is...why the fuck isn't anyone saying anything about it? Why aren't we talking about it? Why aren't we calling out other white women on their racism?
White women need to stop being fragile and we need to step the fuck up and talk about it. White women need to stop talking over women of color and telling them that they don't have to right to decide what is racist. White women need to realize that while we lack power because of our sex, we don't lack power because of our race and we constantly use that power to oppress women of color (people of color in general) and it needs to be fucking addressed so that we can do better.
I'm tired of coddling, I'm not doing it anymore.
PLEASE, I am a biracial black Radical Feminist and we need to address the intersections of racism in patriarchy. The dehumanization of dark people works similarly to the dehumanization of all women. In oppressive systems, there is a food chain, the top being the white man, the bottom being black and foreign darkskinned women. True radical feminist will analyze this, understand colonialism, racism, misogyny, and how they all work together to create the hierarchies that hurt women.
I, personally, haven't seen any racism, at least not coming from radblr. Or maybe I simply don't recognise it. I try to be intersectional and I want to make women of colour feel welcome on radblr, I just don't know what I can do to do that. Is it about shutting down racism when I recognise it? Or is it about giving women of colour more room to talk about issues that affect them but not white women?
There definitely is racism within radical feminist spaces. It’s about doing all the things you describe, it’s about using your whiteness to uplift black voices, about having a true understanding about the intersections of race and patriarchy. Understanding privilege, etc. Sekmet She Owl did a really good podcast about it that I recommend listening to:

Have people lost their minds completely???
“The poor will always be with you” DOES NOT MEAN “Make sure to maintain an impoverished underclass.”
Fucking hell.
Anyway, good morning to Brie Larson and Tessa Thompson and Zendaya and all the other women in the MCU who were relentlessly harrassed for years since the moment their casting was announced, all while not a single white male cast stood up within HOURS to defend them. Good morning to yall only.
Now for the rest of you crusty crabs....
ok, i’m built like a noble ox. like i am 6′1 and i am sturdy lady. like thighs for days. if you try to move me. you will be moved. body images aside (lol, i am self conscious about my size, yeah it’s life)
so like, i am very used to girls standing next to me in public places. i end up acquiring a pack of ladies. just because women are like, that lady is a lady men stay away from. i am jerk kryptonite (usually, i get my fair share of creeps, such is life) but most men have self preservation that this 6′1 ox will break them. and i will
so usually i am in my own phone and look up to another lady standing next to me. and i will immediately look up and make eye contact and nod. like, you know, that nod. i see you and you can talk if there is something wrong. i end up on a reg basis being a defacto bodyguard to these young ladies and small women while waiting for buses and in the metro.
i am a large oak tree. i protect the other birds.
ladies, we all got roles. find tree in the wild. we’re always happy to provide shelter from the creeps.
i’ve regularly said, “move on, she doesn’t want to be your friend”
I’m in love
Story time: So I’m 6’2 and “big boned” as my mother would call it. This happens to me all the time and a couple years ago I managed to get the the front row of a Macklemore concert. This woman, probably 5’4, squeezes up next to me and says, “Hey, I’m here alone, do you mind if I stand in front of you?” Of course not. So we’re all having a good time, dancing around, when all of a sudden this Bro™️ is behind me telling me that I’m too tall to be in the front row and it’s not fair. Now, keep in mind that this concert was outside, in February, in Vail CO. It was FREEZING so not only am I of the stature I am but I had my hair up and a beanie on and a big coat and boots. We try our best to ignore him but Bro™️ is drunk and very clearly thinks I’m a man and proceeds to punch me in the back of the head.
LIL SIS WENT OFF, FOLKS. This tiny woman literally moved me out of the way, jumped up, and head butted Bro™️ in the face with such a fury. I thought she was going to kill him, it was truly a beautiful moment in my life.
The moral of the story is that for every tree in the wild there is a cute little birdy who will defend its shelter to the death. Stick together ladies👯♀️
Some of us are oak trees, some of us are little birdies, some of us are squirrels, some of us are…tree snakes… but whatever you are, stick together, ladies!
true tho
Men b like “yeah I murdered her but she was having an affair 😔😢 what else was I supposed to do 😤”
Men b like “yeah I murdered her but I was having an affair 😔🥱😢 what else was I supposed to do 😤”
Women b like “I murdered him because he was torturing me and threatening my life” and everyone goes “see? Women murder, too”
“female violence is as bad and widespread as male violence!” without fail.
Marie Kondo is full of anecdotes about the weird ass shit that she not only lets people keep but encourages them to elevate in their lives. She says one of her clients ended the process with a bedroom full of vintage pinball machines because what sparks joy in that particular woman was basically sleeping in the middle of an arcade.
Marie Kondo would never make you throw away your weird shit! She wants you to pare down to just your weird shit.
It pisses me off that for YEARS tidying up shows were full of white neurotypicals shaming neurodivergent people for having more than an arbitrary number of possessions and forcing them to go through a traumatic process of throwing away so much of their stuff to fit other people’s standards of “this is how you should live your life” and everyone thought those were fine!
But then in comes this sweet little Japanese lady who says the only rule is how can we make the client’s life happier and less stressful? How can we help them prioritize the things they enjoy being around? Marie Kondo came up with a process that accommodates and respects obsessions and special interests. And people treat her like the devil incarnate.
It’s fucked up.

From a 9th century Irish manuscript, the phrase ‘massive hangover’ (Latheirt) written in the ancient Irish text Ogham. The monk must have been having a very rough day…..

The exact translation is “ale killed us” which is somehow better
