The movie area was a lot busier than Malia had anticipated. With so many other activities available, she just assumed that most would be interested in attending those rather than sitting down and watching a few no-maj horror films. But as she thought this to herself, it dawned on her that she had especially looked forward to this time of night, personally. So, of course, there would be others who felt the same.

And so, with a shrug and a smile, Malia decided to finish up one last film before heading back to her dorm to rest up before heading out to the costume party. As she snuggled with herself, a small bucket of popcorn resting on her lap, the girl jumped suddenly at a loud scream not too far from her direction. Several kernels went flying in the air before her as she attempted to catch her breath, eyes darting around in the dark to find the source of the scream. 

“Are you okay??” The girl attempted to whisper out into the unknown as loudly as she could without disturbing any other movie goers nearby. 

the movie was supposedly scary. hjojun had sat through the first one without any issues. some serial killer chasing people wasn’t really that scary to him. but the second movie was all about ghosts and some shit. and he is attempting to keep it together. but alas, he cannot.

at some point in the movie some other kid left but hojun paid no attention. he was dressed up in his all black getup, as per usual, looking as if he didn’t get any sleep the night before. he was used to look intimidating and scary. and he didn’t mind it at all. but then as soon as the jump scare with the ghost happens, he screams loudly, practically throwing the bowl of popcorn in his lap up into the air and into the stratosphere. 

when he comes back down to earth, someone is whispering he’s okay. shakily, he waves his hand at her. “y-yeah i’m totally fine! i’m not scared, i just... i thought something fell on me! the movie is not scary.” he’s a terrible liar but he doesn’t care right now. this cute girl seems concerned but honestly he feels like he’s gonna pass out. this movie better not kill him.

“i don’t care”, yoojin bites back, in his head he already gave hojun too much of his time while listening to his explanation. it annoys him because no matter where he goes, there’s always this presence around him, like a personal shadow that doesn’t belong to him, always following him around; it didn’t matter if yoojin couldn’t see him, but he could feel him and it was worse than physically being able to see him with his own eyes.

“just go and leave me alone.” he said, returning to his previous position, his wand now low and his shoulders heavy again. with a deep sigh yoojin closed himself once again inside his own world, his mind traveling to years in the past, when he was a little boy and on that specific date he lost his parents. he didn’t need anyone around to witness him breaking down. 

hojun should be worried, but he’s not. honestly, yoojin looks like a scared kitten, all puffed up and trying to act tougher than he was. it’s cute. yoojin is still cute. quietly he walks up to the other, watching the other. it’s clear that yoojin is still hurting... still trapped in the past. hojun just wanted to grab him and bring him into the future.

“are you okay?” he asks, knowing that the other will probably lash out at him. he’s not really that worried about getting hurt- even if yoojin hexed him he wouldn't bat an eyelash. he takes a few more steps forward, eager to try and help. but he knows that yoojin would probably lose his mind if he advanced too quickly. “i’m not here to hurt you.”

❅ Zombie | Jaein & Hojun

     It wasn’t really strange for Jaein to actually seem as if he weren’t interested in whatever was going on around him, not really being the type of person who actually expressed any sort of emotions at all. It had been different when he was younger and would actually smile or laugh, though times change and so do people as well. It was as if now he were some sort of zombie that just roamed around, one that just did what he had to in order to get by and didn’t really even speak. The only time he did was when he was spoken to and even then his tone was usually more neutral and showed a lack of any emotion whatsoever.

     He’s in class, more specifically his med class, and he’s being paired up with of course another student who he had never spoken to before. The class was given a task to just do some research on whichever medical topic they had been given, for Jaein no matter what the teacher had ended up giving him and his partner he knew he wouldn’t have too much difficulty getting through it. Jaein glances over at Hojun, was that what the teacher had called the other male by? Not knowing really what all he should say to the other, though he knows he has to start somewhere in order to get rid of the silence. “Hello, I’m Jaein.” His greeting is short as he speaks, blinking as he stares almost blankly at his new partner.

hojun was pretty excited for this topic. there were already a few ideas in his head, mostly focusing on animals and their medical theories. but he did have a few ideas in case the professor wanted something for people. unfortunately he wasn’t the most knowledge about the human biology since that was not his primary area of study.

when jaein approaches him he waves and tries to look as friendly as possible in his all-black outfit. “hey, i’m hojun. it’s nice to meet you.” he says. “so we gotta start work on this soon, right?” he smiles as he looks at the board curiously. “i’m not in the field of medicine with people, i’m studying veterinarian medicine... what are you studying?”

“what are you doing here?” yoojin allows his voice to come out sharper, cutting through the rain that started to fall that evening, as soon as he sensed someone approaching. he didn’t need to be a psychic to know who was coming at that time, sneaking around like a snake, trying to catch their prey. it made him even angrier, memories of a time when hogwarts students would hide and wait for him just ambush him, bully and leave him behind, with the silent promise that he should never walk around feeling safe.

yoojin’s hand instantly fished his wand inside his robes and he looked over his shoulder, the broad figure standing tall behind him making him even more irritated, his grip on his wand tighter now, even his knuckled were turning into a funny shade of white, paler than his natural skin color. he was there to mourn, alone, he didn’t need hojung around, speaking nonsense, not that night at least.

ah. hojun knew this would happen eventually.

the problem was, that hojun wasn’t really trying to avoid yoojin per say... it was more of the fact he wanted to watch over the other. and it had been going well, but unfortunately it seems like yoojin has finally figured it out. to show that he wasn’t trying to be a threat he held his hands up, showing that he held nothing of danger.

“relax. i’m just going the same way you are.” which is the truth. he was just walking further behind so that he could head to his veterinary class to grab his backpack he forgot earlier in the day. “i’m going to get my backpack from a classroom, if that’s what you really want to know.” hojun adds.

soulmates ?

Miro is a “muggle” and hence he often is fairly sceptical when it comes to magic, he’s still confused as to how it works and why exactly he became a wizard. But often Miro gets told things, and he just.. does not believe them, for example that if you peel this apple and throw the apple peel in the water that it’ll form itself into your soulmates letter, for Miro that just did not make sense, and furthermore, Miro was sure he didn’t have a soulmate. Anyways, Miro still did it, he carefully peeled the apple and then threw the apple peel in the water. And suddenly the apple formed itself into a letter, H to be specific.

Miro looked around, and that’s when he saw Hojung, Miro wasn’t sure if Hojung knew him, but after having memorized almost the whole school’s names Miro kind of knew Hojung. “Hojung!” Miro sounded happy as he threw an arm around Hojung’s shoulders. “Look what I got!” Miro looks at the other with a smile, showing them his H.

the festivities for mokseong were pretty amazing this year. hosung was pretty impressed with it all; especially this apparently amazing “apples” trick they have. it’s all really neat and exciting to hojung. 

he’s been looking around for yoojin but unfortunately he hasn’t spotted him. as he’s walking past the applie festivities, suddenly he’s grabbed by a familiar face. the arm around his shoulder oes make his ego hurt a little bit but he supposes he can let it slide for miro. he looks at the apple, furrowing his brows when he sees the h. huh? 

“how’d you get that? and what does it do?” he asks, raising an eyebrow at the other in curiosity.

hello everyone! 

i’m sorry this is so late. this is jen (i play ryu insu) and this is my second character: hojung! hojung is quite different from insu so i hope that everyone will love him a lot!

i am in desperate need of halloween plots so i will make a plot call for that here and on discord :) under the cut is some information about hojung!

went to hogwarts, placed in hufflepuff

when he was 13 his parents were killed by aurors (completely on accident); they were suspected to be dabbling with dark magic but it turns out the tip was false. he came home to his parents being pinned back by aurors. by the time he moved to protect them they were killed. they took him into questioning and questioned him for hours until his aunt came and picked him up. he’s lived with her since

he was bullied pretty heavily in his second to fourth year; but he eventually started working out

a lot of slurs were thrown at him; mostly ones implying he’s a dark witch and whatnot

after bulking up his bullies basically left him alone and his life has been more peaceful

he’s sort of adopted this “dark brooding” image; he usually is spotted in all black, usually designer brands and has a resting bitch face which intimidates others

to be honest he’s a big softie; loves bright colours and soft blankets. has a collection of the korean plush 몰랑 which is a cute fat rabbit usually dressed in clothes or fruit

he’s pretty willing to help anyone out; he’s compassionate and kind to others

will not hesitate to start a fight if someone is being bullied

enjoys working out in his spare time

would love to play a game of quidditch this year; he loves sports!!!!!! (but really he only likes quidditch)

wants to be a veterinarian when he’s older and take over his aunt’s veterinarian office
