A couple of things to understand about “Yes of course always”:
-There’s an unspoken rule in the entertainment industry. You don’t fucking out people. Not only for respect purposes, because trust me there are enough snakes in the industry who’d do it, but they’re usually locked down by one very simple fact: outers ruin their careers. One need only look at the TR Knightley debacle and how Isaiah Washington lost his career and any ounce of respect he had in the industry to know what happens when you out someone.
-H&L are definitely private people, but they’re comfortable enough in their relationship and who does and doesn’t know to know when it’s okay to talk about it and when it’s not. They’re not idiots, they know when it’s time to shut their mouths. But trust me, 80% of their lives are lived in a very open, very comfortable setting surrounded by people who know and just don’t give a shit.
-As many people have previously stated, they are the worst kept secret in the entertainment industry. Literally everyone knows. But, in combination with not being outed, their teams have done a very good job at covering up trails and even laying false ones to confuse people. It’s all a big game oh telephone like you played in elementary school. Scramble the gossip enough and people will question everything.
-I’ve known Jen since we were both brand new babies to this fandom. I’d trust her if I were tied in front of a train without a moment’s hesitation. Her intentions are not to deceive you or cause you doubt. If this IS true (and I happen to think it is) then awesome, if for whatever reasons it’s not true, that doesn’t invalidate Harry and Louis’ relationship. I understand want for accuracy, but in a world of non-disclosure agreements, secrets, and gossip, that’s not possible all of the time. So let’s just enjoy the nice things we get, yeah?
