while writing chapters and drawing a comic i had a silly idea for i wanted to share some headcanons that I will incorporate in the story!
i am basically making my own au so i though it would be nice to share some things
a teaser you could say
> delivery service you work at is called Speed⚡︎Path, after first main director (or a Boss as the workers prefer to say); Speedpath was a headstrong bot, valuing proper work ethics and trying her best at the job
> however, she had... opinions on the Senate's actions; one day the delivery service gained a new director - no one knows what happened to Speedpath, but in her honor, the service was allowed to be called by her designation
> current boss of Speed⚡︎Path is Smoke Sentry! an old bot with equality old freight train alt mode
> you are actually closely affiliated with him; he took you both in after all
> for someone as big as him, Smoke has a soft spark - don't be fooled by the poker face or build indicating an ability to snap a bot in half, he steers away from violence or even raising volume of his vocalizer
> one of your coworkers (that you actually bothered to remember designation of) is Riftchain - popular mech in your sector, very social
> you are not interested with holding close connections with anyone, but maybe that's why he likes to bother you; Rift will pop up here and there, mostly annoying you or making you realize some things
> Speed⚡︎Path's main headquarters are located in Ultirex; Tagan Heights - being an important industrial output - is a place where the most orders are shipped from; it's also pretty close to Iacon
> durring your travels across the Cybertron, you will meet many interesting individuals! some will definitely be intent on getting to know you more (be it good or bad thing ;))
Here, a small part from the first chapter:
["Not sayin' it's a bad thing," he rised his servos in placid manner, "By the way, Boss-bot wanted you in his office before you-"
"Hey, Rift! You ready?" a shout from outside of the room cut his sentence short.
Clicking his glossa, Rift answered affirmatively. Before walking out, he turned to you once more, "Good luck out here."
You wait for the mech's pedesteps to fade before going out yourself.
Right, his name was Riftchain, wasn't it?
You pass by others, paying you no mind, while reminiscing of times while you still were just an intern. Delivery bots aren't unique or particularly rare, but you weren't upset for being classified as one. It's just a job you do and even if it didn't secure you with luxuries, it let you go by alive. There definitely were things you wish to do, that your social standing didn't allow, but you try to not dwell on them to much. You heard enough rumors to know better than to question it out loud.
Halls getting more desolate the closer you get to your destination. You stop in front of tall doors. Before you even lift your arm to knock, they slide open revealing-
- empty office. Right.
The office was well organized, except that haphazardly thrown data pads on the desk - done internationally by your boss, you assume. Lying on the very top of that mess was a note, it's servowriting pointing, again, at your employer.
'Important! Destination: Iacon, Hall of Records. Recipient: Orion-'

the three bots mentioned are oc's made for this story, you can tell i'm not that creative with names lol
writing is taking me some time because of me needing to use translators and doing research on things not fully clear to me
Obviously blonde4blonde ships are fucked up and scary, but it's important to remember that fiction isn't reality. Many people enjoy things in fiction that would be fucked up irl, and writing blonde4blonde ships doesn't inherently mean that someone is actually okay with two blonde people dating in real life.
