You know what hasn’t been talked about?

The fact that on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Boyle went from being in love with and obsessing over Rosa to accepting the fact that she didn’t like him that way and remaining a genuine, trustworthy, and caring friend. There wasn’t a focus on being put in the “friend zone” or anything. He just accepted it and moved on appropriately. I love that.

honestly tho I would watch the shit out of a b99 prequel where early 20-somethings jake + gina move out to the city together + become roommates in the early stages of their "brand new adult" lives. jake's a beat cop + gina takes the assistant job to pay the bills while she tries to get floorgasm off the ground. jake, stevie, + gina are the iconic trio in + out of work [1/2]

they all party + goof off together but then jake + gina also have chill nights alone @ home where they just sit on the couch eat pizza watch movies and dish about whatever’s on their minds (like whether or not jake should act on his crush on stevie + ask him out or how gina wants to bedazzle all her spandies to say ’queen g’) and at this point in their lives they’re each other’s family + love each other unconditionally [2/2]
