The way some Toby fans treated Clockwork back in the day is insane. They'd call her story badly written whilst dismissing any flaws Toby's story had.

Some of them called her a slut because of the abuse she faced. Completely different than how they treated Sally, mostly because she's a child and not actively involved with Toby, so therefore not a "threat" to fans' relationship with him.

A lot of people can't even post ticciwork fanart without some single digit iq troglodyte commenting "Btw i FUCKING HATE clockwork but your art is so good 🥺🥺"
