Since Celestia was under the great Starswirl’s training, her magic surpassed all expectations including alicorn magic. In time, her power outgrew her half-sister Luna and ultimately ascended, gaining wings and the right to rule (fun twilight parallel). There was only one who could reign at the time and Luna could only watched from the shadows as her sister became Equestria’s princess. Resentment in Luna begin to take root heavvyyyy and boom nightmare moon plot 🌙 The phantom wings Celestia has in the first art foreshadows her reign era as a fully pledged alicorn and the next queen of Equestria, also extra! Acts like a protective shield for baby Luna there hehe

Okay Cait obviously doesnt know about Vi’s parents but she literally could’ve worded that out differently, I was gagged and gasped so loud 😭 I totally get it though thats just part of her character in season 1, what matter is how they would carry it out after and I think they did.. dare i say, fantastic- *gets shot*  The second page top panel was my fav to work on!! Based off that one scene in season 2 ugh I love them, enjoy the angst!!
