Music major friends!!!

I need your advice….I’m a little late in the game to start a music major,I haven’t been playing since I was 4 unlike most music major musicians… I’m 25 and have bills to pay..i would love to become a music teacher whether K-12 or professor or even compose my own stuff if possible… Everyone is telling me don’t get discouraged when I tell you this but I think you should find a new career path with music that will be easier. I know it’s not going to be easy but I don’t wanna drain myself mentally because I’ll have to work to stay in school full time and practice! I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO! I wanna pursue music i love it,its my passion but if I can’t manage it than why bother 😣
