Did you see [MAYA MATLIN] walking around the streets of Toronto? I could have sworn they look just like [DOVE CAMERON]. [SHE] IS A [TWENTY ONE] [SOPHMORE] AND ARE CURRENTLY STUDYING [MUSIC] AT TORONTO UNIVERSITY. PEOPLE OFTEN DESCRIBE THEM AS [+DETERMINED], [+FRIENDLY], BUT ALSO [-MOODY], [-RASH]. I HOPE GOSSIP GIRL DOESN’T KNOW ABOUT [I HAD AN AFFAIR WITH A PROF]. 

   Growing up Maya felt in the shadow of her sister while also not wishing for the same pressure to be put on her. She mostly kept to herself, Maya tried different things, hobbies, sports, but nothing took like her first love. Singing took hold and never let go. Music felt like a way to vent, to communicate in a way she couldn't simply speak. When she wasn’t performing grade wise she felt comfort in the one thing that was always there for her. This passion carried Maya to her adulthood where she now plays professionally around Toronto. Its not the stadium tour yet but shes proud of what shes done, gaining a following thats more than just the handful of people she had in high school, back when she had to beg any club to let her play. 

   During her adolescence the lack of attention and care from her parents finally got to her and this began her battle with depression. Maya was lost for a while, life was on pause. After working in therapy and finding ways to manage her mental health a step in the right direction was continuing school, however she didn't know what would be ahead of her. Freshman year Maya found herself lost, music something she loved and excelled at was now something that everyone was just as good at if not better. With classes being not what she expected she soon felt isolated.. until someone showed her special interest. That being a professor no less. She didn't see anything wrong with it in the beginning Its not like hes creepy, it wasn’t until she opened up to a friend when the impact of her actions started to set in. The power imbalance, the age difference alone, once she began to ask him questions the ‘relationship’ ended as silently as it started.  Its a secret she's kept pretty well hidden except for a select few. Maya wouldn't know what to say if this ever got out.

- Maya loves people and is quick to befriend them, though she doesn't always think most of her actions through, she likes to think of it as another adventure. Maya likes to be open her mental health and history, in all areas shes an open book. She can be found basically living in the Fine Arts Building and on occasion classes at the school of business, a girl needs to know her contracts right.

“you’re going to be the first one to listen to this whole new thing. i mean, i tried to see who will actually keep all of this a secret and i think you are the one who can actually keep secrets when it comes to that whole music thing.” why was he scared to ask people though? well, maybe he’s afraid of said songs getting released without him being okay with all this. though, he know he’s not in L.A. anymore and there isn’t anyone who would actually do that, he is still scared of something like that happening to him. “i don’t want anyone else to listen to it since, i don’t know. i’m quite scared someone’s gonna stole them nd release them when i’m not done with the lyrics.”

Like not even a line, humming a bit” She understood as much as she could where he was coming from but there wouldn't be anyone like that around here right? “I know it doesn't mean much coming from me, I dont exactly have a hit album but nothing close to that has happened to me.
