You’d Be So Nice To Come Home To - Chapter 05: Lilac Wine (edit)

Usopp had a handful of glasses of beer before sneaking mixed drinks off the table; he couldn’t really remember that well. But as he hovered, sometimes stumbled, excitedly behind a dysfunctional game of cards, he realized he was drunker than he thought. Luffy had neither the stamina nor the grace to bluff his way to winning, and Chopper was fiddling with his glass, uncertain of the contents but curious enough to sample it. Brook lounged with his violin while offering nonsensical commentary with superfluous tips, to which Usopp offered rebuttals.

Sanji watched. He spent his time chatting with Nami between bets, sipping from his glass regularly, and keeping tabs on the goings-on, and when the kitchen became too warm with all their bodies packed inside, he stood to prop open the entryway. The crew had been playing cards since dinner, and the darkness of the night with the mass of empty bottles and kegs confirmed the general state of inebriation.

I’m looking for a fic I read some time ago, probably a year or two, and now I can’t find it again. Maybe someone here can help out?

It’s a slow burn, where Phil is married to a sweet woman, they have kids (maybe 2) and live in a house. Dan is in a relationship with some wealthy guy (royal? idk, I don’t remember, a lord maybe?) but Dan is secretely attracted to Phil and has been for years. Phil is kinda oblivious but then again not completely and one night they kiss after shooting a Dan and Phil Games video. And then it goes from there, Phil can’t leave his wife and kids but he really loves Dan and Dan is tired of waiting for Phil and almost gets engaged to his boyfriend, because he loves him as well, but decides not to in the end.

Sorry for the long ramble, but this is what I recall from the fic. It was really well written and I loved it so much! I remembered it a couple of days ago and want to re-read it, but I cant find it...
