KICK THE CAN!
Let’s play the biggest game of kick the can on the internet.
To kick the can, reblog it. I wanna see how long this can go on for.
the oldest reblogs for this post that i can find are from january 2nd of 2013. this can has been getting kicked around tumblr for almost 13½ years now
And yet somehow this is my first time kicking it!
I fucking love this video
hey US folks, if you get a CP53E letter from the IRS and it has a QR code on it, **DO NOT USE THE QR CODE, IT'S A PHISHING SCAM TO HARVEST YOUR BANK DETAILS**. The scam letter looks almost identical to a legit CP53E letter -- the QR code is the only difference.
i just got one of these in the mail and at least one other family member did as well a month ago. the letter is about your tax refund being frozen, but i didn't get a refund this year, so that flagged it for me. but since the letter looks real and has some legit information on it, i can see it fooling people.
All in all you’re just another owl in the wall.
Let's ambush mama! 😼
"Why do Pallas cats always look grumpy?"
"Pallas kittens."
The sheer roundness of this kitten must be admired.

From the Nashville Zoo’s fb page! Here’s the petition, please please please take a moment to add your name (even if you’re not from Nashville!). If you are from Tennessee, contact your representatives and make it clear that the people do not want this data center. This is an AZA accredited zoo which is home to several species of critically endangered animals, we NEED to protect it. Make your voice heard!
Because people will pay attention to cute animals, here are some of the critically endangered/endangered species housed at the Nashville Zoo!
The Amur Leopard and Clouded Leopard (which recently celebrated its 50th cub born at the zoo!)
The Sumatran Tiger
The Red Ruffed Lemur and Ring-Tailed Lemur
The Cotton-Top Tamarin and White-Cheeked Gibbon
The Colobus Monkey and De Brazza’s Monkey
And the Mexican Spider Monkey!
Look at them!!!! Look at them and fight like hell to save them!!!!
Please help save my home zoo

Banksy has confirmed that a new statue erected in London is his work and I think it might be one of my favourite pieces by him.
Called "Blinded by the Flag" it... actually, you don't need me to explain it, it's art, you'll get it and interpret it yourself.
It's in Waterloo Place, Central London, if you're nearby.
The first photo had me nodding, and then the full shot nearly killed me laughing. Perfection!
sidewalk art I walked by today. there is love out there.
alright I've got to do some quick math to explain attitudes towards AI to my boss.
we're looking to create an AI policy, and when we were talking about this, my boss (older millennial) was genuinely shocked to hear that younger people do not (seem) to view AI positively (a la the recent commencement speakers being booed)
please rb for larger sample size!
Question 1/3
What is your age, and do you feel AI is a net positive or net negative in our lives today?
under 18, AI is a net positive
under 18, AI is a net negative

46-60, AI is a net positive
46-60, AI is a net negative
over 60, AI is a net postive
over 60, AI is a net negative
Question 2/3
How often do you visit or interact with museums/archives (whether in person or online)?
Frequently (multiple times per month)
Often (multiple times per year)
Occasionally (a couple times per year)
Rarely (once every couple of years)
Never :(
Question 3/3
If you saw a museum was using AI in exhibits, marketing, research, etc., would you be more or less inclined to visit that museum?
under 18, more inclined
under 18, less inclined
18-29, more inclined
