We as a society do not talk enough about the fact that Sebastian was indeed in love with Kathryn at the beginning of the film.

The way she’s labeled as “My Love” during her section of his journal, and then labeled as a bitch while he begins writing about the bet and Annette gains his affections instead??? Truly cruel and so delicious.

It’s always been just enough to have me not feeling sorry for him and why I love Kathryn. I too would plan the downfall of a man who once matched my freak and then lost interest and dropped me after I stopped being his manic pixie dream girl.

my only problem while watching cruel intentions was that I liked Kathryn way too much to want to see her lose
