Hi. I wanted to say hello to you guys. Been getting some ideas about rebooting the blog but nothing set in stone yet. I'm still gonna focus on other things for a bit but I've been missing it here a bit. Might move onto a different account, retcon a few things, and make the blog more centered on the San Francisco timeline. Including sweeper Coyote and hired gun before they got their act together Coyote.
I'll likely be demoting them from Baron, I've found I've had more fun writing them trying to fight up the ladder and them having to answer to the Baron who is also their adoptive sire.
The blog technically exists but there's nothing on it. Just backing things up there and sitting on it while I come up with things. Whenever I feel the time is right I'll share the news and URL!
In personal news, things haven't been easy. You guys have probably seen or experienced the state of things politically. But I have great friends, including a sweet boyfriend who is as much of a VTM nerd as I am. So despite it all, I'm finding comfort in my community and I feel cared for. Like I'm another step closer to getting on with my life.

Hey, gang! I hate to do this but things just aren't working for me here and they haven't been working for me for a while. It kinda hurts to put it out in writing because it's a feeling I've been sitting on for a long time and didn't want to admit because I love this hobby. I've been writing here for over twelve years. I made a lot of friends and memories with tumblr RP but I feel like I've just been unsatisfied with things for a while.
I feel like a lot of plots I get invested in usually end up dying, threads get dropped just as I feel they're going somewhere, I make connections with people and they disappear, or a rare new face pops up in the VTM RPC and they leave as quickly as they arrive or I end up having a bad experience with them.
I feel that my storytelling goals as a roleplayer just don't align with that's most popular within the community. I feel I can't play Coyote to the full extent of their personality due to the attitude that's been cultivated that if your muse is a piece of shit, you must be the same. Don't get me started on finding new active partners because I can't help but feel I'm used as follower count padding at best, outright blocked at worst. It stings to have put so much effort in, you know?
I'm sorry to complain but I just need to because I've just been feeling this way for a really long time. It's so hard to stay motivated to stick around and be active here when I'm constantly getting my hopes up and then nothing happens. To make it clear, I'm upset but I'm not upset at anybody in particular. I guess more at what the community's become.
This isn't a definitive goodbye or anything but rather a big step back to focus on my other projects. I really would like to come back around sometime and keep writing here, maybe do a hard reset too. Time will be the judge on that I suppose. I'll still log in to see what you guys are up to, though I won't fault you for unfollowing, blocking, etc., due to my inactivity.
