He tried for a calming smile, but it most likely came out as an evil grin. He stroked her soft cheek.“It was in my best intentions to bring you here.” Anti had kidnapped her about a year ago, hoping someone would give him a ransom to have her back. The touch to her cheek was warm, but she couldn’t tell if it was him or just the thought of touch made her warm. “I know.. You’re looking out for me..” she whispered, genuinely believing the words from her own mouth. The panic had ended about a month into this. He hadn’t hurt her and he kept her company, which was sadly more than she could say for her family.
Her family. How sad. They hadn’t even looked for her and it had been a year later. Even worse than that, she didn’t miss them. The only things she missed were her flowers and her sister, who was too young to even notice anything was probably wrong. Somehow in her mind, this was better than the Robinson household & the psychological torture. Oh, if only she could realize how fucked she was now.
