OH HELLO HURLEY AND SLOANE’S SONG CUE HAPPENING THE MOMENT THEY SAVE MAVIS’S LIFE. HELLO TEARS.

I fuckin. I’m still not over, apparently, the overwhelming unbearable JOY at the moment Griffin unburied his gays. That gesture, that moment? That rocketed him up my all-time favorite storytellers list by like. a billion. I already adored this story, but to have him look at something that he’d done, that was a good dramatic story moment true, but had been hurtful due to a trope he hadn’t been aware of, and say “you know what? Fuck that. I’m gonna fix it” and bring them back?

it just. i was sobbing pretty hysterically the first time, and I’m doing it again now, because no one does that. No one does that for us, no one gives us back our representation, even if they give us more later. But Griffin did. And it meant everything.

I’m way back in my taz balance tag going chronologically, and 1) I’m absolutely tickled that the episode I finally caught up to current on was the last Suffering Game ep, so I got to hear “sturdy. denim. and blue.” and then had to WAIT for the first time which was EXCRUCIATING

and 2) this post was my response to the first ep of Reunion Tour, and in retrospect I find it very funny that THIS is when I started screaming. Like, oh sweetie, you got a big storm coming. XD
