grief leads to a hostage situation with russian roulette and a bomb threat

the solution to "deadly spider" is "suffocate it and shoot it with a gun"

someone reveals that he ate nothing but pecan pie for a week (by choice)

everyone almost dies because someone tried to pour whiskey in the fuel tanks

two men strip naked to prove to each other that they didn't steal something

someone's violent harpoon death is foreshadowed dozens of episodes in advance

The strongest guy in the Magnus Archives is that one guy who was so obsessed with his dog that he just walked right out of the Spiral because it was her dinnertime

This is one of my favorite episodes. Fears can't hurt you if you're chill enough. The guy who walked in a spiral for four hours and then just left because he remembered he had somewhere to be is, to me, the avatar of the entities' fear

guy who kept the coffin of the buried in his living room and used it as a coffee table

walked out of the spiral because his dog needed dinner

the plumber who was so inattentive that the stranger put on a whole spectacle for him and he straight-up missed it all

the guy whose primary concern with the evil taxidermists was whether or not they were money laundering (they weren't)

AND he didn’t even realize evil taxidermy was at play for the longest time because he came in like “I love and respect autistic people, of course I’m not judging eye contact”

we CANNOT forget the woman that was actively being swallowed by the buried and when there was nothing she could possibly do she lied down on the ground and accepted her fate so thoroughly and with such calm that it had to barf her back up.

I just saw someone else talking about it so I'm gonna throw my singular thought in.

A wolf 359 and phm crossover, but in the idea that Hera is the ai controlling the Hail Mary. I just think that it would be a very interesting angle where maybe the isolation seems lessened, but for both Hera and Grace, it kinda just exasperates the problem.

I also think that Hera could learn how to communicate with Rocky just as fast, if not faster than Grace.

Honestly I just like the idea of a crossover between the two that doesn't do the obvious (bring over Eiffel).

I can’t stop fucking thinking about how good the character development of merle highchurch is. like I’m talking cool character in dnd terms, see cuz it’s all

the THB are literally prerolled characters. they’d DESIGNED to be stereotypical, so that’s how they start, and then by the fucking end, you have a cleric who only became one because he came from a religious background but doesn’t have any actual faith in it until that faith is earned over the course of a whole campaign. a cleric who was a shitty father and husband, who resists being the moral compass he’s supposed to be at every turn, who treats religion, the literal basis of his class, like a necessary inconvenience. and then by the end of balance, we’re rewarded with a better father, a kinder man, and someone who has the personal love and favor of his god cuz he fucking. earned it. THAT’S dope character shit, THAT’S unique, Clint is a goddamn master.
