Ok but what if the same goes for the clones.

Rex can't quite picture Anakin like he used to. He remembers the war stories, but he looks at pictures of him and doesn't remember his hair being that long. And where did he get that scar from?

Wolffe is slowly forgetting the sound of Plo Koon's voice. He used to hear it in his dreams every night, waking him up in a cold sweat, but as the days turned into years, the nightmares became less and less specific, less detailed. Then Wolffe hears Plo's voice on some video on the holonet and he can't remember his buir sounding like that.

Bly used to remember the exact color of Aayla's skin, the specific shape of her lekku, the look in her eyes whenever one of his brothers said something funny. He used to want to die to see her laugh again. Now he sees pictures of her smiling and can't help but thinking that she looks foreign to him.

Cody couldn't help but smile as he remembers catching the Obi-Wan's lightsaber in battle, the smooth and collected tone the General uses whenever he "negotiates" with Separatists. The countless talks while Obi-Wan slowly slipped his tea, the constant discussion of battle strategy, the silent laughs as Obi-Wan rolls his eyes at his former Padawan which Cody would silently agree with. Not that he would ever mention that aloud. But as Cody stares at the news and prays that he never sees an announcement that Obi-Wan Kenobi is dead, he is struck with the fact that he can't remember what kind of tea Obi-Wan likes. The one he would drink when stressed or the one he would drink when he was in a good mood. Cody walks away before he can dwell on that fact any longer.

Just. Clones not remembering details of the Jedi they had fought and would've died for. Even the tiniest ones they would have remembered so easily a lifetime ago

Imagine if Star Wars had actually wanted to do something INTERESTING with Echo.

Echo has gone through SO MUCH by the time Order 66 happens, what if it had actually MEANT SOMETHING?

Because Echo knows, before almost anyone else, what it means to truly lose all of your agency and be turned into a weapon against everyone and everything you love. Echo knows what it is to die and be brought back to life and have to live with knowing he'd been used to hurt his own people, the Jedi, and innocent people in the Republic. Echo knows what it feels like to have to find a way to understand who you are again after that and to keep fighting so it doesn't happen to anyone else ever again.

Imagine Echo being one of the only ones who can reach the clones, who can help them through the trauma of what's happened to them. Because he's not alone anymore, he's not the odd one out, someone no one else can truly understand. They're ALL like him now, they all know exactly what it feels like to be him. And as much as he'd wanted to feel less alone, he wishes it hadn't happened like this. He's glad he can be here to help any of the clones he's able to help escape the Empire, but it would've been better if they'd never needed the help in the first place.

But they do. And he's here, a shining example of what survival in the wake of their worst nightmare looks like. He hadn't always understood what the Jedi had meant when they'd talked about the will of the Force, he'd dismissed a lot of it as just spiritual mumbo jumbo he'd never be able to understand. Most things didn't happen for a REASON after all, they just happened and you dealt with it as best you could. But now, he wonders if he understands it a little better. He wonders if it was the will of the Force that had propelled him towards the shuttle that day on the Citadel, that had caused him to ignore Fives' demand to come back. Because as awful and meaningless as it had felt at the time, it's allowed him to provide guidance to his people in a way no one else can.

He's not the clones' messiah, he's not even their leader, not really. But he is a beacon of hope in the darkness, lighting the way towards the opportunity for a better future.

who wants to hear part one of my pantora worldbuilding since star wars loves to give us nothing

Here is part one. It is mostly about clothing because,,, well it's ME writing XD

Firstly, Pantora is a very cold moon. This is a canon fact. Therefore, even though Pantorans are able to tolerate low temperatures, their clothing is very thick and not particularly revealing, in order to conserve body heat. It is often comprised of multiple layers, and usually everything is made of some kind of wool. In addition, the vast majority of Pantorans wear a head-covering of some kind, in order to prevent heat from escaping the head; this has become a part of their culture, and even off-world, where heat conservation isn't a necessity, to meet a Pantoran without some kind of hat or veil or headdress is practically unheard of.

Stealing a headcanon from @wispsofwhimsy, Pantora's main export is gold. The moon is just lousy with it, to the point that even the very poorest peasants can be counted on with some reliability to have at least one piece of ancestral jewelry. Therefore, while clothing itself tends to be rather conservative, in mostly solid colors and with minimal embroidery, the jewelry game on Pantora is unmatched. Even things like zippers, buttons, grommets, and belt buckles are made of gold.

Pantoran society was once highly stratified. While the planet unified and transitioned to a democratic system about 500 years before the outbreak of the Clone Wars, and their class structure is now far more relaxed, there are several carryovers from the rigid, feudal past that persist. One of these is Pantoran Color-Coding, in which each class primarily wears a specific color so that they can be identified more easily.

Political Figures, including the Pantoran Assembly, wear blue. However, the Chairman and Speaker of the Assembly wear primarily a powder blue, while other politicians wear sapphire blue.

Ancestral Nobility wear red; the shade depends on which of the Four Noble Houses they can trace their lineage furthest back to (I'll talk about these houses in a later post). Nobility who are also politicians may sometimes wear more red than blue in their attire, as a carryover from the feudal days in which one's clan was one's highest allegiance.

The military wears black to symbolize both the tragedy of war and their foremost allegiance to the people of Pantora rather than politicians or nobles. In feudal times they wore white, for a similar purpose.

Merchants wear a saffron-yellow, symbolizing wealth and prosperity (especially on a cold, tundra-covered moon such as Pantora, where most of the natural palette is muted and pastel-toned anyway), and also to represent gold as their primary export.

The average Pantoran is not bound by any traditional garments and usually wears multiple colors at a time. In the feudal period their assigned color was supposed to be green, to symbolize the life of Pantora, and they are depicted wearing green in traditional Pantoran artwork, but this was simply not a practical reality and has never really been followed.

There are also customary colors to wear at events that differ slightly from the norms of the rest of the Galaxy— namely, weddings and funerals. In addition to white, Pantorans wear the same reds as ancestral nobility at weddings, in the hope that the couple might be rich in happiness regardless of material wealth; it is extremely common for philanthropic nobles to rent out pieces of their wardrobe to their poorer neighbors. At funerals, in addition to black, they wear green, which much like the supposed traditional color of the average Pantoran, is a celebration both of the life the deceased, and a hope that they enjoy bliss in the afterlife.
