HES LITERALLY THE MAIN CHARACTER I CANT WITH YOU PEOPLE
Before it was the Pitt the show was supposed to be a spinoff of ER where he was reprising his role as John Carter. Noah Wyle was always gonna be the star IDK why people don’t get that.

How it feels to watch the Pitt when you don’t view any of the main cast as irredeemable monsters : ✨🌈🐬🎉🍾🥳🎊🥹
i have no excuse for this
Confused at the amount of people who don’t understand why Robby, the main character of the Pitt, gets more focus than all the other non main characters.
mystery solved
purity culture needs to fucking die. why are some of y'all saying you can't empathize with robby — a character who is deeply traumatized, burnt out, and on the verge of suicide — just because he's been a little mean to his coworkers this season? y'all pussies can't fuckin handle a little attitude and insensitivity from someone without wishing a horrible death on them? i really hope none of you or your friends ever become severely depressed bc you'd probably speed up the process for each other!!! honestly i would understand maybe not immediately being empathetic towards a stranger you saw lashing out for seemingly no reason, but we've seen robby's backstory!!! we've had all the reasons he's behaving this way practically spelled out for us!!! you guys just can't understand when someone is being unkind but still deserves compassion and that is really fucking concerning!!!
As someone who works adjacent to healthcare, I quickly learned people only care about mental illness as long as it’s not ugly or inconvenient.
Also people think that all mental illness is the same and there’s no difference between social anxiety and active psychosis. Which I think contributes to the problem of people not caring about mental illness.
and if i felt sick to my stomach hearing dana say? and if i said that is the last thing he needed to hear?
he needs to be needed. it's why he's struggling to leave and he's wavering.
A lot of y'all think that Robby doing his job and having difficult/uncomfortable conversations with people equates to him not caring and that's the problem. Him grilling Dana about how she handled the patient that attacked Emma was not him defending that man or condemning Dana's actions. Robby is constantly advocating for nurses and highlighting the importance of them in the ER so why on earth are y'all reading that conversation as him not giving a fuck about nurses and their safety?
He's been lacking a lot of tact recently, a reflection of how burntout and unstable he is, but he's also their boss. He can be nice and funny and familiar but he still has a job to do.
I think alot of the people that feel this way are really young and have probably never had a job. Or they’ve never been held accountable for anything before.

IDK if it’s just this fandom or what but I don’t remember people being so determined to hate the characters/actors from a show like they do now. I mean the hatred I’ve a seen for fictional characters from the Pitt is legitimately disturbing. I don’t remember people being this weird about fandom when I was younger.
I’m not joking when I say I’ve seen posts where it seemed like the OP didn’t understand that it’s all a tv show? Genuine discussions as to why it’s ok to hate these people in real life, based on a scripted storyline.
