Merridew family portrait!

To me Jack Merridew just screams only child. I headcanon that Mrs. Merridew always wanted children but was unable to conceive for a very long time until she had Jack. Because Jack is her miracle baby, she spoiled him rotten and took great pride in him and his accomplishments. I feel like his father, however, just expected that of Jack. He seems like that kind of guy who doesn’t interact with his kid much because that’s “a woman’s job.” He probably gives Jack like one handshake on his birthday and that’s it. Jack’s family is also extremely wealthy. Mr. Merridew definitely owns a factory of sorts. They are also very religious and are heavily involved in the church. Jack’s only involvement in the church is through the choir, but over time I feel like he would grow to be as religious as his parents. Adult Jack becoming a Priest is real in my heart. Also, I have a good feeling that his parents manage to survive the war somehow.

Piggy’s Parents!!

This is the only picture Piggy has of him and his parents (he’s the fetus.) Headcanon time! I like to think his father was a soldier who died in combat. His mother had a very difficult pregnancy she ending up dying during childbirth, leaving Piggy under of the care of her older sister.

His Auntie adored her little sister and adored Piggy just the same. She was a very hard working person and tried her best to provide Piggy with every possible chance to succeed. Also, this picture was totally taken by her “business partner” that just so happens to live in the same house as her and Piggy.

Definitely planning on making more family portraits of the boys. Making designs for them is so fun!!

Here are my character designs for LoTF. I tried to make them as book accurate as possible but I had a lot of leeway with Bill, Robert, and Maurice. I was gonna give them their full uniforms but I decided not to cause it was taking me too long. Also I forgot to add Piggy’s glasses. Whoops!

Found an old lotf project I made with a friend about 3 years ago while cleaning out the garage. Coincidentally, I’m in the middle of designing a character lineup for the book. It’s cute seeing how I used to draw Jack and Simon. I only drew the characters, my friend assembled the rest of the project. If I remember correctly we got a 99 on the project and the slides that came with it.

The EVA Pilots

Evangelion is one of my favorites animes, but I noticed that the art style suffers from same face syndrome. I thought it would be fun to draw the characters a little more distinct and realistic. I went through a lot of photo references lol. Anyway, I really love how these three turned out, especially Shinji. My original plan was to draw the entire cast, but idk if I’ll actually ever get to that. Still, could be fun!

Gabi and Falco!!

I grew very fond of these two, especially Falco, during my rewatch of season four. I was only three episodes away from finishing the show, but life happened and I couldn’t. But now, almost two years later, my family and I have finally finished the show. It’s one of the best anime’s I’ve ever seen. So, y’all know what this means. New hyperfixation!!!

In my AU Brozone has the same dad, Morrissey and he has 4 separate baby mamas. Their names left to right: Bea, Sage, Morrissey, Bloom, and Nellie. Bea is John Dory and Bruce’s mom. Sage is Clay’s mom. Bloom is Floyd’s mom. And Nellie is Branch’s mom.

Morrissey

He’s Rosiepuff’s only son

He was 17 when he had JD, 18 when he had Bruce, 21 when he had Clay, 23 when he had Floyd, and 34 when he had Branch

He dreamed of becoming a famous singer and was in and out of the boys’ lives bc of it

He was the one who told the boys to start a band

Bea

Morrissey’s high school sweetheart

Got married to Morrissey after finding out they were going to have JD

Went gray shortly after JD was born

Morrissey divorced her shortly after Bruce was born

Stayed in her son’s lives for a good while before completely disappearing in their tween years

Sage

Was a hippie and convinced Morrissey to become one too

Clay was Morrissey’s only planned baby

Ran away with Morrissey to live on a commune when Clay was a baby

Stayed at the commune after her and Morrissey’s break up

Bloom

Was a pop star

Morrissey was basically her groupie

Was mean to all of Morrissey’s kids

Morrissey tried baby trapping her with Floyd so she left

Nellie

Part of a group of nomadic trolls called Eclectic trolls (they travel around enjoying all different types of music)

Introduced Morrissey to the Eclectic lifestyle

Morrissey never told her about Branch

I finally finished my drawings of Brozone with their dad!!! I finally named him Morrissey. I’m gonna make more drawings showing him off bc I have so many ideas with him.

Here’s my headcanons on how old I think they are. I literally have so many ideas for them. I am OBSESSED. I might write a fic tbh

I made them a dad and I don’t have a name for him yet (if anyone has any ideas tell me). I might change his outfit idk yet. I like to think he wanted to be a famous singer and wasn’t super present in the boys life because of it. John Dory wanted to be a musician like him and make him proud, which is why he started Brozone. I’m adding Daddy issues to the Brozone lore.
