“I think I love too easily.I find it so simple to pick out the best traits in somebody. I like to know what makes people tick and what makes their pupils dilate. I can fall in love with the way they talk about their favorite shades of color and the way they pick out groceries.I am interested in the way people take their coffee and if they prefer tea better.I find myself loving people for their laughter and the crinkles beneath their eyes when they smile. And I think it’s so cute whenever they suppress their grins when they think of something funny or memorable. I love the way people talk about life and what’s on their mind; it’s nice to know that there is more to discuss than the sounds on mattresses and the type of plant they inhale. I love the way people spill their hearts out when they’re happy or when they’re sad.Sometimes, when they don’t let me love them, it makes me want to love them even more. And even when they don’t love me back, I still continue to love.”
— Ming D. Liu, A Story A Day #148 (via elauxe)
People have let me down way too many times for me to expect different behavior from anyone
We go into relationships knowing deep down that this might end up hurting us at the end but when it comes to friendships we tend to always have faith that our friends would stay with us forever and that's why we are 100% ourselves around them. Which is why when friendships end it hurts a lot more than losing someone you thought could be the one.
Never really understood what love feels like and I'm not sure if I ever will, and you know what? I don't really care anymore
Imagine always falling for toxic men and then one day you meet a nice guy that you like. You go on cute dates and hold hands but then he tells you he doesn't have feelings for you because he too is only attracted to toxic people.
I have always wanted to live like we all might die tomorrow, yet everyday I still have to deal with the consequences of the actions I make using this stupid excuse
There is no place for thee in this sea full of memory
How can I be so sure about something, yet so wrong.
I really want my heart to stop feeling, but it just won't listen to me.
I thought this was my first time experiencing this kind of pain, but I just remembered that I was in this exact situation about 5 or 6 years ago. This does not make my current sadness any more bearable, it just makes me feel stupid that after all that I have been through and after all the people I have dealt with, I still catch feelings...
7/5/2018 my depression made me crack.
i am no poet, but i would like to tell you that the thought of you makes me feel like there is still hope
i am no poet, but i think you put the stars in the sky
i am no poet, but there is more than just lust between us
i am no poet, but can you see that we can conquer the world together
i am no poet, but i shall die if this does not work for us
for all i loved i loved with pain, sorrow, and madness.
i want to be heard by the universe.. i want my wishes and my prayers to come true..
so today i cried twice
“And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.”
