The Fate of Ophelia - A twist on the actual fate of Ophelia. Taylor will not be controlled by the men in her life. She is actually still THAT BITCH!!!!!!!!!!!!
Elizabeth Taylor - Probably a Blank Space moment. Comparing herself to Elizabeth Taylor and how everyone was infatuated with her love life.
Opalite - I'm actually very conflicted on this. Would've said it's a reference to Travis's birthstone but knowing opal and opalite are not the same thing is throwing me. Maybe she just liked the word opalite better.
Father Figure - I think this will be a sexy song but about herself. She is the father figure of the music industry. I feel like the the Eras Tour and with TLOAS she's really started owning her sexuality. This song will have us calling her daddy.
Eldest Daughter - I'm hoping this is the flipside of Father Figure. She's also the eldest daughter of the music industry. Maybe more on the sad boy side of reflection.
Ruin the Friendship - I truly have no idea. I don't think it will be out Blake. It's hard for me to not view this as a love song, but there's no one I can see it being about.
Actually Romantic - Ok, I think I'm 100% right on this, and if I'm wrong I'll eat my shoe. I think this is about how the sad, poetic life Taylor thought was romantic (ex. the lakes, The Tortured Poets Department vibes) isn't actually romantic. It sucks. What's actually romantic is Travis and his bright, bold love for her.
Wi$h Li$t - Again, no clue. The only thing I've heard that feels remotely close is Taylor buying back her masters. But like who really knows.
Wood - If this is about that type of wood, I will, once again, eat my shoe. I think is probably something to do with the Pinocchio easter egg. Like being with Travis has made Taylor feel like a real life girl, or something like that.
CANCELLED! - I feel like this specifically about the fan letter that was sent during Ratty's era. It could be more general, just like cancellation at large. God knows it happened a lot during the Eras Tour. I just wouldn't be surprised if we were getting a But Daddy I Love Him follow-up.
Honey - This just has to be a straight-up love song, comparing Travis to honey. It feels like the most straight-forward song on here.
The Life of a Showgirl - I have a super vague idea of the content of this song. Like, obvi it's the life of a showgirl. The glitz and glam but then the reality of being offstage. But as far as specifics, I'm really at a loss. I also really don't know how Sabrina fits in, but I'm very excited.
