Just found the password for this account. wow its been a while.

I wish i wouldnt have rushed into having skin removal surgery with the doctor that did it.  it turned out so bad, go infected like no one’s business and now just looks like shit.  he claimed to be a perfectionist but my stomach skin is so fucked up now.  I wish I would have done more research and waited to find an actual perfectionist, because my doctor fucking sucked. i would seriously rather have my excess skin than the fucked up shit thats there now.....

GUESS WHAT

I HAVE A DATE FOR MY FIRST EXCESS SKIN REMOVAL SURGERY. IM SO EXCITED but also super nervous because its surgery and im not 100% sure what to expect. If any of my followers have had their excess skin surgeries, hit me up!

My weight went way down over night (263.8 from 265), so that’s a relief! I know weight fluctuates, but it’s been fluctuating up and up and up. It’s been getting to me. I had a realization in the shower, though!

I currently weigh what I weighed when I started grad school 5 years ago. I may have gained roughly 30 pounds back from my lowest weight on this journey. BUT I’m wearing clothing the size of what I did my senior year in HS. The number on the scale does not mean what it used to for my body. I haven’t lost all that progress!

WHERE HAVE I BEEN??

I honestly don’t know the last time I posted on here but today is July 5 2019. So far this summer, I went on vacation, a cruise, drag racing and an Indians game. This coming weekend is All Star weekend in Cleveland and I’m so stoked! On July 10, I have an appt with a plastic surgeon and I’m praying to high heavens that I find a surgeon & have surgery before going back to teaching in August....I’m running out of time though😬

Happy belated new year y’all!! Here’s an update since I haven’t been on a while.

-I did a marathon which was awesome!!

-I got a teaching job!!

-I had a wonderful Thanksgiving with my family. I’m so grateful for everything in my life❤️

-I moved into a townhouse down near where I teach (which makes the commute 10 minutes instead of an hour and 15 minutes)

-I had a great Christmas with my family

-I turned 23 on Jan 3 (the adulting is real)

-I had two snow days last week which I desperately needed😴

-My New Years resolution is to have better time management/not wait until the last minute to do things

I hope everyone stays warm (I’m trying not to freeze, I’m grateful that I have a warm place to live) and has a great rest of their weekend❤️

Alright y'all, let’s talk about breakfast! I saw these featured on an IG account that I follow and I just had to see what they were all about. This particular one is a breakfast pizza with egg, sausage, & cheese. The crust is made out of chicken and Parmesan. THIS IS INCREDIBLE. These little guys were $6.99 at Kroger, but being a wls patient I can only eat maybe half of it, so $3.99 for a meal for me is not bad at all. Especially when it’s 25g of protein & 4g of carbs. (If y'all can eat the whole thing just x those numbers by 2) 😊 I’m waiting to try the pepperoni pizza and they also have enchiladas that I want to try! But none of my local stores carry them yet.

Size 19 ➡️ Size 8

If you would have told me a year ago, that I would be buying jeans in a size 8, I would have told you that you were batshit crazy. But a few weeks ago, I did. After everything I’ve been through, I deserve these.

EDIT highly recommend NOT BUYING INC denim from Macys. These jeans were expensive and they are falling apart. I’ve only had them a couple months but as expensive as they were, they shouldn’t be falling apart like they are. I’m really disappointed.

Hi everyone. Today I walked in my first 5K marathon. My mom and I did The Great Pumpkin Run in Akron and it was so much fun. Even though we just walked, it was a huge accomplishment for both of us, knowing everything we’ve been through.

Hi friends!

I just realized that I’ve never posted any pictures of myself on here. Why? No clue tbh.

The first picture was taken before surgery on August 3, 2016.

The third picture was taken August 7, 2017 at the KOP mall.

In that time span, Ive lost 125 pounds and I’ve learned so much about how to eat and what I should be eating. 

Weight loss surgery IS NOT the easy way out.  It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. In the months after my surgery, I spent hours throwing up because my pouch didn’t like what I ate. I spent days, crying and regretting all of it, wondering why the hell I did this. I had this surgery to save my life.

It may have been the hardest thing I’ve ever done but it was so worth it and if I had to, I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

One Year

One year ago, I had weight loss surgery that saved my life. Ive been thinking a lot lately about it and I want to reduce the stigma around wls.

Weight loss surgery is NOT the easy way out. This has been the hardest journey of my life. I've spent hours in the bathroom, getting sick because my stomach didn't like what I ate. I've spent days crying, regretting all of it, wondering why the hell I did this. I had this surgery to save my life.

I look back and think about everything I’ve gone through and I would do it again in a heartbeat to be at the place I am now.

I went from 289 pounds to 173 pounds and I will never see that number again. Ive lost 116 pounds and I feel amazing.

I cannot believe that I am less than one month away from being at my one year surgiversary. I love the place that Im at right now. Ive been able to do so many different things that I couldn't do before. I think my favorite part of my weight loss is being able to walk into any store and pick out basically any piece of clothing.  I had to get a new pair of pants for my job. I walked into JCPenney and only tried on two different pairs until I found some I liked. It was so nice.
