I think we've overlooked what Gwen and Pavitr's dynamic is like because yeah there's only been like three times where they interacted but then when you look at both times they interacted--not including the introduction between Pav and Miles--you'll notice there was always this...like, non-stop back-and-forth chatter.

The confused back n forth the two of them had when they ask Spot which Spider-Man's attention he was calling at the beginning of that fight.

That endless insufferable blathering they got into while Miles was trying to disable the shield, disrupting Miles focus.

It's funny, because whenever my sister and I come up with headcanons and write scenarios for these characters, we always had Gwen and Pavitr as the "last two braincells." That classic "Aang and Sokka" dynamic, where two incredibly cunning characters lose all cognitive function when they're together.

Then I was rewatching the movie recently, I got to that scene at the shield and those two IMBECILES (Gwen and Pav) would not shut up. It was so funny to me that I then realized, "oh my God. they ARE the last two braincells."

That's it. They're Bill and Ted. Mordecai and Rigby. Beavis and Butthead.

Wafaa's old blog got shadowbanned, and its just yet another example of how far tumblr will go to silence palestinians when theyre already struggling to get by because of illness, starvation and the constant violence. It should alarm you just how frequent this is becoming with palestinian bloggers having to remake 3-4 times when theyre already living through the worst things imaginable.

If you don't know who she is, Wafaa Alnhal is a woman in her 40s who had left for Egypt a little after the occupation attacked for medical treatment. She has since been working hard to spread her campaign and evacuate her family who she had to leave behind in Gaza, despite her own ongoing struggle with her health issues and making rent.

Initially her goal for her gfm had been 35k, but recently she's had to raise it to 50k because her daughter has gotten hepatitis from the polluted water in Gaza. Her family is suffering- all 15 of them including 4 young children and a newborn baby- and they will have to live with the damage for the rest of their lives. It's taking its toll on Wafaa too, who's had to neglect her own health and wellbeing to raise funds for them.

She's made a new blog @wafs-posts and you all should follow her there to get updates from her on the situation directly. You should be listening to her instead of hearing this from me.

The occupational forces have intensified the attacks on the area where her family was staying, and they don't have the funds to move anywhere else. Wafaa's sister and 15 year old niece were murdered during these attacks. And recently, their family home as well as the shops that were the family's main source of income were destroyed by the iof. They are fully dependent on any funds Wafaa can scrounge up on here.

This is urgent. Wafaa's family is struggling.

society if lord and miller had never put miguel o’hara into a spiderverse movie and instead focused more on miles as spider-man. there was no reason to make an allegory to the racist white fans, least of all in a mexican man. because it gave so many fans a warped sense of “justice” in which they get to be really racist to a brown mesoamerican man. it’s so obvious how many people know nothing about the actual character of miguel o’hara and who choose to only engage in the movies. there’s nothing wrong with only watching movies, but you will always miss additional context to characters by acting like comics are less than. anyway happy one year anniversary to a movie i wish had done more for comics but instead only seemed to do more damage
