shut the fUCK UP
I WILL CRY
ITS MARCH YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS
Its the brushing of hands. It's the way Will's looking at him. It's the desperation on Nico's face. it's the way Will looks like he's falling inlove despite the situation. Like Nico's all the suns and stars in the sky and he would follow him to the depths of Tartarus (spoiler he did) it's the way they're both holding eye contact and there's warmth and a silent 'where you're going I'm going and im not gonna leave you no matter what, we do this together'.
OK WHY TF IS WILL GIVING NICO THE 'i love you sm but I think I'm gonna die' look. NO. THEY LOOK SO SOFT IM GONNA. HE BETTER NOT. WILL TAKE MY GUN. They look like they're gonna kiss. Gimme a moment.
From now on I will fight with you.
dude → babe → baby → husband
Fruits Basket is wild because the premise is "Haha! Wow! These Pretty Anime Men turn into Animals when theyre hugged and then when they turn back they're NAKED!!! 😳😳😳 ehe silly anime!" but then you watch it and its like. Every Character on this show is physically, financially, and emotionally controlled by one person with immeasurable wealth and power. the main characters stories revolve around their slow recovery from the trauma of physical/verbal abuse, sexual manipulation, and neglect. there's a love triangle that isnt even about Who Gets The Girl, but rather each individual's growth as a human being, understanding that they are worthy of love and compassion, that there are people in this world who will love them, unconditionally, and that they DESERVE to be loved. love EXISTS and nothing about them makes them unworthy of whole, unbiased love. that realization is a pivotal part of their healing and it's a central theme of the show that comes up for each and every character, whose own journeys follow that same thread of healing past wounds with compassion, love, and friendship.
and then they like. barely ever turn into animals.

Caligula: *stabs Jason in the back*
Jason: Et tu, Caligula?
okay when I first read the burning maze I was upset jason died outside of his own series for what seemed like such a pointless venture. it seemed especially cruel considering the fact that the prophecy of seven doomed someone to die and leo managed to come back. but now .. it makes sense.
to storm or fire the world must fall. leo or jason had to die. that was the prophecy. leo was clever and he thought he could outwit it. he found a way to die and come back, but you can’t avoid prophecies. we’ve known that since the lightning thief. trying to change fate only leads to more misery later on. so leo didn’t realize but by trying to cheat the prophecy and coming back to life, he was dooming jason. they never got to reunite, instead they exchanged places.
leo got to survive but jason died. an oath to keep with a final breath. it wasn’t the oath to calypso after all. jason made apollo promise to remember what it was like to be human when he went back to the gods. that was the oath.
I’m shook.
poor jason. it’s legit so tragic, that after everything he went through he died like that on what was almost a side adventure. but I guess that’s the point. death doesn’t wait for the perfect moment. it just kills heroes, young and noble and tragic
As much as I wish Jason was still alive, I think it’s pretty cool the way Rick incorporated it into the plot.
The desire to honor Jason’s memory is one of the biggest driving factors for Lester’s character over the next two books. He realizes just how serious his quest is- it’s not some adventure that he gets to tag along on for fun. It’s life or death, and people are making sacrifices so he can complete it. The least he can do in return is get the job done so they didn’t die in vain.
And the whole part where Jason asks Lester to promise to remember what it’s like to be mortal when he regains godhood? Iconic. Not only does it display Lester’s character development and growing humility, but it also ties back to the plot of pjo beautifully. Jason is telling a god himself about how poorly the Olympians treat demigods. It directly addresses the issue that was left open-ended in tlo. It’s closure, in a sense. A god is being forced to confront his wrongdoings, something that we really needed to see back in pjo.
Rick may have killed off our favorite golden retriever boy, but hot dam he made use of the storyline.
Dead Jason memes I made instead of doing my homework:
(One of these days I’ll make a serious post about Jason and not mock his untimely demise, I promise)
anyway jeff bezos could eradicate homelessness. he could literally give each homeless person 100k and it would only take less than .5% of his entire wealth. what the actual god giving fuck
Why do you think they deserve it
Well shelter is a basic need, and would at the very least allow them a place where they can get back on their feet. Food water and shelter are necessary for a healthy body and psychology. There’s also the fact that they’re people too, and a little help goes a long way in making a decent community. There’s plenty of reasons
Yeah they need stuff, but why does every homeless person deserve 0.5% of someone’s income
You have five hundred apples, and just one day to eat them all.
You pass by a small crowd of hungry children, and decide you’d rather 455 apples go rotten than give them to some snotty brat who isn’t your problem.
It doesn’t matter how hard you’ve worked for your 500 apples, or that you aren’t the parent of any of those kids. in the moment you decide to walk away, it doesn’t matter why they’re hungry, or who owes who what.
You had the opportunity to help people, you had the ability to help people, you had the resources to help people. You had everything you needed to make a small, tiny little difference in someone’s life, and you decided not to.
What are you going to buy in your lifetime that’s worth more to you than your own humanity?
What are you going to buy in your lifetime that’s worth more to you than your own humanity
Reblogging for the very, very important lesson
Sometimes I wish there were a Hell if only for the visuals of a bunch of rich shit heads wandering around on fire asking “Where’s my money?!”
“For we each of us deserve everything, every luxury that was ever piled in the tombs of the dead kings, and we each of us deserve nothing, not a mouthful of bread in hunger. Have we not eaten while another starved? Will you punish us for that? Will you reward us for the virtue of starving while others ate? No man earns punishment, no man earns reward. Free your mind of the idea of deserving, the idea of earning, and you will begin to be able to think.”
― Ursula K. Le Guin, The Dispossessed
“Why do you think they deserve it?” Why the fuck do YOU think that they DON’T?
bitches be like “this was my favourite book series as a child and here I am many years later unable to move on”.
