Can I... a starving orphan... who is homeless... alone and unloved... perhaps trouble you for one small fish from that bucket? Please? -pathetic cough and helpless look-
Oh I know that face
When will y’all learn

I watched trans discourse to nb discourse to bi discourse to ace discourse to aro discourse to any person without a full label discourse to any kinky lgbtqia+ discourse to queer discourse to intersex discourse to pan discourse
I am not lying when I tell you it is. Literally. All. The. Same.
“Secret disgusting straight group is trying to overtake us and lying about being a part of (label I conveniently dislike)! Every other group we shit on before is actually okay but this group is REALLY SERIOUSLY SECRET STRAIGHTS TRYING TO DESTROY US!!”
There it is. the discourse for the next decade. Packaged with a bow just for you. When you see it tell them it’s literally just EVERY DISCOURSE I SAID UP THERE repackaged. Because it is. <3
Subchapters:
They’re ‘appropriating’ our language. Not because ‘coming out’ is something that accurately described their experience but because they’re evil secret straights who want our stuff.
They want our ‘resources’, because acceptance and support are not available in unlimited supplies and going to support groups that you don’t need is something evil secret straights do.
They have ‘privilege’. Unlike us, who are not all a combination of axis of oppression and privilege because of the many aspects of our identity. We’re 100% oppressed all the time in every way.
They don’t ‘suffer’ like we do. Because it’s totally okay to demand that people publicly expose their traumas in order to be accepted by us. That’s not ‘bullying others the way we have been bullied’ at all.
There is a part of me that thinks there’s a possible fascinating opening for Bolaire as a character to explore the idea of like. How much are you willing to tolerate or endorse someone whose autonomy requires the destruction of another person’s autonomy? Where do we draw the line of competing needs if one individual’s need causes ongoing harm to a series of people? Do you trust anyone to only perpetuate that harm against “bad” people? Who gets to decide what is morally “bad”?
But I’m also still not convinced the narrative is interested in exploring this deeply and not just sitting in “yeah he takes people’s bodies and imprisons their minds but don’t think about it too hard”.
The other day on shift, I was walking down the hallway when a confused old man started yelling. This is fairly common in the hospital, so I ducked into his room and was like "hey dude what's up" and he's like "so sorry to yell but do you know where I am and what year it is" so I reoriented him to a bunch of stuff and explained why so many people were walking past his door, and he seemed much calmer and more oriented by the time we were done talking. And he says "and what's your name?" So I tell him "Sarah" and he stares at me so I repeat "Sarah" and he stares at me so I spell "S-A-R-A-H" and he stares at me so I show him my name badge and he stares at me and then he says "now forgive me for being so blunt. But I was under the impression that Sarah is a girls name. Is that no longer correct?"
Anyway y'all ever be so fucking gnc that you inadvertently gaslight a confused old man into thinking there's yet another part of the world he no longer understands?
Not to keep bragging about my masculine vibes, but another very pleasant dementia patient today called me nice young man. Assigned gender by Gladys.

The liberated Rungjani blood (souls?) being used to paint murals of rebel orcs in a liberated theater by a young Rungjani artist is sick as fuck actually.
this pride month we’re all going to be radically pro transgender. or else.
hey so this means radically pro ALL transgender. don’t put limitations on this. all trans people are radically accepted here.
