Listen I understand that there's very little in the text (of the film at least) to support a trans reading of the character, and that it's only sticking in my head because everyone refers to them by their surname that also happens to be a feminine first name but Dr. Grace is a trans woman to me.

*for context. im playing the decomp pc port 'dusk' that just came out with a modded iso (that i legally obtained by dumping my own copy of course) to play as a linkle. this is probably my 8th or 9th replay of the game. grew up on the wii version. it being unmirrored is a trip lol. (yes i know i can change the mirror mode in the settings. im keeping it off in the settings :)

saw a post on bluesky about reimagining The Iliad as a mecha war and that idea goes unbelievably hard. achilles in his legally distinct gundam cutting through dozens of enemy suits. aggamemnon in his gold-plated mech. paris using a long range sniper rifle to exploit a design flaw in achilles' armor. the gods are all various megacorps who have a stake in the war bc it'll impact their profits.
