Now that I've finally finished streaming the TTYD remake, here are all the little costumes I made for my Paper Soleil avatar - one for each of the 8 chapters! (they were all rigged for animation in pngtuber+ too, but I'm too lazy to make gifs, so you can go skim through some of the VODs if you wanna see the buny movin')

This was easily the most extra work I've ever put myself through for streaming a single game, to date. No regrets tho! I couldn't be this committed to casual streaming if I wasn't at least a LITTLE bit of a tryhard, right?

i apply for a job. i never hear back.

i search for "entry level jobs". i am shown listings for things like "military intelligence officer", "senior veterinary surgeon", and "forklift engineer".

i search for "jobs in bookselling". i am told that there are 9 bookselling jobs in my area. when i read the listings, 8 of these 9 jobs are care assistant roles and the 9th is a pyramid scheme.

i search for "jobs within 5 miles of my location". i am shown jobs that are on the other side of the country.

i type in "proofreading". i am shown listings for "ai training".

i search "creative industry jobs". half the listings are for finance companies and the other half require a degree in data science.

i receive an email. "based on your profile, indeed thought you would be a great match for this opportunity!" the linked job requires a degree that i do not have and 5 years of experience in a field that i know nothing about. the email does not explain why this opportunity would be "a great match".

i receive an email. "based on your profile, indeed thought you would be a great match for this opportunity!" in the body of the email, it warns me that i will not be able to apply for the job it has sent me because i do not meet the criteria.

i apply for a job with a temp agency. i never hear back. 2 weeks later the agency website goes down and never comes back up again.

i apply for a job. 6 months later i get a stock email telling me my application has been unsuccessful.

This has also been my experience between jobs, esp with Indeed.com! I used to be able to rely on it, but it has been ENTIRELY useless lately! If you're also looking to jump jobs right now, consider your other options, snagajob.com, monster.com--even the Google search job listings for your area will be more useful!! I'm primarily a retail manager/asst. store manager-type and I CONSTANTLY have to filter out all these RN, caregiver and prosecutor listings!! Stay safe out there, and please take care of yourself as best as you're able. It's a tough life to live right now.

I think I think I would like doodling to be a part of my life again. NOT ART... Doodling. Just having fun until I desire to learn more. My art is quite stiff, but it makes me feel happy. And rn, that's rly all I could want amidst just trying to keep my head above the water of it all

I think more people should make fursonas and I'm dead serious. the process of self-exploration that naturally comes along with creating a funny little critter to represent yourself is SO valuable, as you consider the types of animals you vibe with and what kind of aesthetic/colours/personality/etc suit you and stuff like that (fun fact this process is how I figured out I was transgender lol. not saying that will happen to you but just proving that you can learn a LOT about yourself through this design process and any subsequent design changes)

and then when you're all done, you have a little freak you can do whatever you want with! edit them poorly into memes, commission lavish oil paintings of them to hang in your mansion, use them as a personal online mascot, design a fucked up evil twin for them to fight, soak them in milk and throw them at the wall, anything really. same stuff some people do with fandom characters they really like, except it's 100% yours and nobody can tell you you're doing it wrong! also now you have an animal your friends can associate with you and they'll send you funny pics/videos of that animal that make them think of you. literally it's just wins all the way down for you and everybody you associate with. everyone should have one of these things!!

fr tho the usefulness of a sona as a means of self exploration and self expression cannot be understated. it honestly would have taken me so much longer to accept with absolute certainty that i was trans had it not been for someone having gone, “lemme draw ur sona as a girl,” when it was something i was thinking about but was too anxious to really address on my own. having it be an abstraction of yourself while still being a representation of yourself makes it a lot easier to try things without the fear of needing to commit to them. plus as a bonus u also just get to be a cool animal on the internet
